DENNIS ANYONE? with Dennis Hensley

An emergency podcast is called when Dennis gets a text from a super Flakey Date from the past.  Sandra Bullock's secret baby, dreamboard parties, and RuPaul's Drag Race also take their licks. 

Tony enjoys a few heapin' bowls of Flaky Dates while Dennis recounts the time he was in a parade with Cyndi Lauper.  Tony gets a rubber gift from Dennis....but it's not a Fleshjack.  Scary gym encounters, a middling Zoloft update and the Clybourn Avenue Improv Players present their latest opus "Bad News for Leslie Stahl."

Dennis starts to pull a Gloria Estefan and comes out of the dark...sort of.  Tony loses and boy and gets a trainer and there's updates on the Fleshjack, the Zoloft, the Amazing Race and Pamela Anderson.

Tony wraps up the run of his hit stand-up show Tony Tripoli: I Shit My Pants while Dennis lunches with his writing hero and the boys get a new sponsor this week, sort of...Zoloft.  Dennis cries during Hot Tub Time Machine and Tony remains dry-eyed and disdainful through Marley and Me.  Oh...and Dennis gets a new toy.

Dennis reports on Perez Hilton's reality star-studded birthday party, Tony spends a weekend with dad and the boys welcome Ricky Martin into openly gayland. Lots of listener e-mails, too.  

Dennis screens the first cut of his short while Tony makes a Gleeful proposition via Facebook. Tony's been fudgepacking them in at his show Tony Tripoli: I Shit My Pants at the Fake Gallery. Dennis has two unlikely crushes, Raille Hunter and Ray Romano. And Tony accepts a shocking Facebook friend request.

Tony gears up for his stand-up special, "I Shit My Pants" and shares his altercation at the 99 Cent store that's straight out of the movie, "Crash."   Dennis recounts his most embarassing moment of the decade so far and it's  a doozy.  And they both let loose on a certain Advocate coverboy.

In this pre-Oscar installment, Tony delivers an encouraging update about Bread Loaf.  Dennis gets to play third wheel to an ex and his date.  And the boys let loose on a whole bunch of famous people including Mo'nique, Shannon Doherty, Mary Hart, Johnny Weir, Pam Anderson, Jimmy Osmond and the Access Nation, whoever that is.

Dennis recounts the shoot for his short film Rubdown, during which something comes off in his mouth! Tony goes to AZ for his neice's birthday and comes back with beer stories and adorable neice anecdotes.  The boys fill out Dennis's Razzie ballot and Dennis gives Tony a sneak preview of the concert film Celine Dion: Through the Eyes of the World.  It's spas-tastic!

Tony lightens up and Dennis goes to the dark place in their longest podcast ever.  After years of shunning it, Tony goes on Facebook and gets all the good, all the bad and all the weird of it in the first fifteen minutes.  Dennis preps for his short film shoot and updates on the flaky date who he sent the shit-calling e-mail to in the last podcast.  Let's just say a certain country singing legend...

Dennis and Tony share their weird dreams, then deconstruct Miss America, the Grammys and RuPaul's Drag Race.   But the real news is Dennis's savage e-mail to the Flakey Date who won't die. 

Dennis throws a bowling party to raise money for his short film Rubdown and lots of fun folks show up. Tony refuses to give up El Pollo Loco for some guy. The guys comment on how Anderson Cooper loves to put on a gun show any time there's a natural disaster and offer a debrief on the Hope for Haiti celeb-a-thon.

Tony kicks off 2010 with a flurry of dating activity and has a close call with a certain redhead while Dennis obsesses over award show kid shout-outs and auditions actors for his short film Rubdown.

The boys are back in 2010 sharing stories about New Years Eve, Runyon Canyon racism and the movies of 2009. Tony loses an Umberto and gains a Gus. Dennis gets a lifeline from Deborah Gibson and sees a screening of Avatar with a James Cameron Q & A afterwards.

It's BYOB as Tony and Dennis recount their adventures in Arizona over the Christmas holiday.  Nothing says Happy Holidays like multiple Dairy Queen runs and an uncomfortable family viewing of "Shit's Complicated." 

Tony looks on helplessly as Dennis commits a major audience member faux pas at "Xanadu: The Musical" in Orange County.  Tony's dating derby rages on, a listener solves the mystery of the second sphincter and Dennis and Tony share their origin story, which involves Vanessa Williams.

Tony's back hurts and he gets a massage from God and Dennis almost embarasses himself in front of a Queer Eye as Shitstorm '09 rages on!

Dennis and Tony bask in the glory of Tony's triumphant stand-up special. Dennis's has a total Kate Hudson turnaround thanks to her fun, 60's-esque number in "Nine." Meredith Baxter orders a steaming bowl of pussy and the boys pick up the check.

Tony recalls Thanksgiving with his family and gives an update on the three bachelors who are currently in play. Dennis has no love or family life to speak of so he talks about the movies he saw over the holiday weekend including New Moon and The Blind Side.

Tony is torn between three lovers and Dennis is as committed as ever to his beloved Diet Coke.  We also rap about Adam Lambert, Precious and Oprah's calling it quits.

Tony shares for dating travails while Dennis offers his thoughts on the Twilight phenomenon and the Ellen / Oprah power coupling.

Dennis and Tony take a bus tour through LA's history with Out and About tours, celebrate the wonder of 100 calorie packs and wonder what it must like to rep Sara McLachlan.

Tony breaks down his rules for dealing with flaky f-buddies and Dennis shares relief over a good check up at the neck doctor. Ashlee and Jessica Simpson's career misfires are also dissected. And listener e-mails, too!
