Delight in Grace

Our passage 1 Peter 3:8-13 reminds us to love regardless of how others treat us in return.

Our acceptance into God's eternal community equips us to love and bless our earthly community. We can love because we have been fully loved. The love we experience from being loved by God allows us to build bridges into the lives of others.

Do you understand your wife? It's going to take a lifetime, she's complicated.... God made her that way. It's not a bad thing it's a good thing and men are called to live with them with an understanding heart.

A stained glass window sparkles and shines when the sun is out and light is coming throug it. But in dark times that beauty cannot be seen unless there is light from the inside. Our culture places an impossible standard on women when it determines value by outward appearance. God's Word shows us to place importance where God does: on the imperishable beauty of the heart.

In dark times beauty is seen only when there is light inside. Our culture places value on a woman's outward appearance, but God's Word tells us that it is within a woman that makes her beautiful, and effective in a dark culture.
