Deep Waters

Send us Fan Mail What things do we believe in that we cannot see but that require some level of faith to believe, that they are real and that they do exist?   This is or was a question you would often hear streeter preachers preaching to the lost, as they defended their Gospel position. And it’s my belief that there is no logical or spiritually intelligent argument against the comparisons. For exa...

Send us Fan Mail Ha, spiritual rudeness could be another way of titling the message but even then, I am not satisfied or convinced that it really says what I think it should. So shut up was a way to rudely say it. See, it’s a rude start to a rude activity, that occurs at many of our prayer meetings all across this planet. Are you going to teach us how to pray Ken? Well if I was the all powerful in...

Send us Fan Mail This is an important message because I think that as believer you should know that God wants you to ask, to talk, and to communicate with Him as if He is, as if He did, and as if He will. Part of your prayers should include asking; not all but part. God wants us to want to be in relationship with Him. In fact it is the most important relationship you can be in. If you read 1 Thess...

Send us Fan Mail Well here we go again with some scripture surfing under the Son. Have you ever wondered why some people say that there is only one God or that there is One God but three that is the father, Son, and Holy Spirit, or that there is just one God but no Jesus, or that Jesus is not a God.     So to address the Jesus thing; the devil is a liar and doesn't want anyone to believe that...

Send us Fan Mail Is it really fair to call something “repeating” if it is more like a different version of the same story? So why then should I share a different version of the same story if a similar version of the story already exists? Great question and it seems that the rule of a single version only fits with some artistic expression of which I think is like my childhood stories, than in most...

Send us Fan Mail Was Jesus born again? What Ken, those them thar, be fighten’ words. Ha I know right Jesus born again. The King of kings and the Lord of lords born again. I thought that taking that bath was only for the dirty sinner right? So, but when I first read this, I was like, no, no, no these peeps missed it, whoever they are has missed it. Jesus was a perfect man, born sinless and without...

Send us Fan Mail So, this is kind of interesting because this message can go in many directions. I got the title as I was ruminating and rummaging through my thoughts as I journeyed from Paradise to Chico this morning. I was thinking about what it would be like to put Jesus in an interview situation in order to ask Him questions. You know like the Pharisees did to Him all the time, but for me, it...

Send us Fan Mail How about I point blank you before I explain and support my position? Now even though the message will be discussing the church, it is totally about His developing and arriving bride. Stay with me, get your revelation on, and be renewed in your soft gushy mind. The church is for the people of God, the kids of God, the called-out ones, it is not for the devils kids who willing want...

Send us Fan Mail Ok, ok, I know even I was a bit apprehensive about this title, but remember I get titles and then the message drops, and because you are you and I am me, there is no way you can see where this is going with a title like that. So, for the Nubians on this Podcast, don’t be thrown off by the title, hang in there and in so doing ask God to give you the revelation of what is surely to...

Send us Fan Mail What another message using a play on words? Yup only this is a message about a weapon that satan used to resurrect your flesh. The very flesh that died with Jesus? Yes that old you. Let’s look so that we can be sure this message will be buoyed by the strength of the truth of scriptures. Gal 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in...

Send us Fan Mail Well I think it's time for a Podcast statistical update. I think you should know who else is listening in besides you. I started this podcast June 28, 2022 so I am just heading into my 9-month of chit-chat. I suspect that I am not the only Christian that wants to know if God is in the thing we believe that He has called us to be in right? One way is to look at the fruit, not...

Send us Fan Mail Freedom from guilt or evil; innocence. What? You mean I am innocent and in right standing before God, now that I am an authentically born-again believer who among many other things, including the fact that I am a new creation, am also one who is pure? I’ll take it and leave the rest behind. This definition is so far from what I used to be, and not because I used to think so, but b...

Send us Fan Mail Matt 5:48 - 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Cut are we from the same cloth right? Matt 19:21 - 21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” Notice Jesus didn’t say you would be saved but that you could be perfect and follow Jesu...

Send us Fan Mail So righteousness doesn’t mean that you will always be right. In fact you know that your off when you understand that right and wrong are in another world. Righteousness has friends that make contributions such as purity, blamelessness, and holy to name a few. Fighting to be right is exactly the same thing as fighting someone for a piece of fruit from the tree of the knowledge of g...

Send us Fan Mail The title of this message is: Sinless Pfweah, I don’t even know how to spell pfweah but if I could it should look like pfwaeh. Ha Did you say sinless Ken?  Oh but you mean like after I can no longer be hurt because I’m dirt right? Nope. I mean based on the journey we are continuing in as Christian peeps. A storied Analogy: like a Cheetah chasing down a Hamster at full speed, sin c...

Send us Fan Mail Rev 4:8 - The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “ Holy , holy , holy , Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” 1st – ha they do not rest oh the waiting to get to a place where rest is not needed. 2nd and more important than not having to rest is that they establish the atmosphere...

Send us Fan Mail Being equipped for the work of ministry. Ha now I know that some of you that have been with me from the beginning know that equipping is the heartbeat of applied strengths ministry. I really enjoy it when I run into someone every so often and they are identifiably different. They have completed goals behind them, more clarity of purpose, and love God so much that they actually bel...

Send us Fan Mail So don’t be thrown off in that you will hear this opening six times but each of the aforementioned topics will be discussed separate and apart from each other. What makes you different from those who are not Christians? Just to head off the missiles I will say that it is not effort or works on your part. Now let’s see if we can answer that question. I can guess that some of you mi...

Send us Fan Mail I should start this message with the age old kid response to the older brother or sister and that is: YOUR NOT THE BOSS OF ME. Ha  I have had so many conversations with other believers, to get right into the message, that regarding honoring and obeying Church leadership they thought it was a volunteer option to do so.  Some would argue to the point that they became very contentiou...

Send us Fan Mail So to refresh your minds in previous messages we have chatted about God calling us gods, the great harvest loss, aborted baby Christians due to poor training on the part of us, the church, how our lives were re-defined upon being born again, your new family identity once you became authentically born again, some Kingdom stuff, and the lack of maturity in the saints today because o...

Send us Fan Mail I know, I know this is going to sound like a big fat Ken rant, but it’s really not. It’s me telling you how I feel when an unwarranted interruption enters into my spiritually meditative space. I don’t know if anyone else feels this way or if interruptions have become the normal way of communicating. I will move through this message as if that is not the case.  https://appliedstren...

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever heard the saying that that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree? Unfortunately, in this world of serious negativity and judgement we often hear it applied to someone who acts like or makes the same mistakes as their wayward parent. Now this is not a message for the weak, religious or those that can spell and have a phobia of newly created words. And yes you would...

Send us Fan Mail Fake like most of the news we hear. Wronger than a lie. Purposed to deceive. Almost correct. Barely detectable. Punishable by sin. What! Where are we going Ken. I am listing the “close but no cigar” efforts, albeit wrong and intentional, of peeps when it comes to flowing in the spirit without the spirit, or to those who believe but just not in their hearts. Yup it’s the many who w...

Send us Fan Mail When 2nd Timothy 4:1-5 states that they will heap up teachers who tell them what they want to hear who do you think that the scripture is talking to? It is not talking to the unbeliever that doesn't want to stand in front of a teacher who is teaching them anything in regarding the Bible. It is talking to the other believers, you, me us. Can you hear the urgency from Paul to T...

Send us Fan Mail This is a story based on the fact that we are born-again into the righteousness of God for immediate service. Yes there is spiritual maturity at play here but allow me to share with you that kids under the age of 10 were healing adults at the Azusa Street Revival. Oh go a head I’ll wait for the plethora of excuses as to why they could but you won’t, I mean can’t, or perhaps both?...
