This was the first set I played as an official resident at Dogglounge.com. It was the first of a new "phase" in my DJing career.

This is the recording of a live set I did at Dogglounge (http://dogglounge.com) on December 29, 2015. This is the weekend after the celebration of Thanksgiving Day in the U.S., during which much excess of food & drink is consumed (myself included). The set also has a decided disco slant in the 2nd half, which brought to mind the excesses of Studio 54 in its heyday.

Recorded live at Dogglounge on Sunday, 8 May 2016. Here in Boston, spring has not been easy to enjoy because of much rain. But today, the sun was out, and I felt like dancing with joy. So this set is a bit more House than Deep House, because it is made for dancing!

It was Saturday afternoon (2018 May 19, and I didn't have any plans, nor did the station (http://dogglounge.com) have anybody playing live. So I jumped on for an impromptu set. This was just some new tunes I've picked up & had fun with. I especially love the opener. Update 2018 August 5: This turns out to be my most favorite of all the sets I've done in the last couple of months.

Sadly, it meant I had the sound card setting on "Phono" (vs. Line) for the first 4 tunes, and there was all low-end, no high-end. I did the mastering and artwork (which made me come up with a name), then forgot to upload the podcast. In the meantime, I've forgotten. I had just come back from Ibiza; though that doesn't make me remember anything (probably was instrumental in why I forgot...).

Recorded live at Dogglounge on 31 July 2016. For this set I was using full-on pro gear: Pioneer CDJ-2000nexus and DJM-900nexus. Stuff the big boys play at every club. Sadly, this is about $5k of gear, and I don't own it, so I don't play on it as frequently as I need to to keep my skills sharp. Since I've got some dates coming up where I need to be on that gear, so I borrowed some to freshen up.

Recorded live at dogglounge.com on Sunday, 7 August 2016. I had guests coming over for a backyard BBQ dinner after the set. It was hot out, and we'd be eating hot BBQ ribs. So, "grilled". Note: This set is about 10 minutes short of my normal 2 hours; I had to quit early to pick up all my DJ wiring before guests arrived.

But of course; She definitely deserves time for a great annual “survival ritual”. I had to dig in the crate a bit for old tunes, since I didn’t have time to go find new stuff.
