Send us Fan Mail Imagine a company that generates $800 million a year in sales. It has around 700,000 salespersons and it moves about 2 million units. And that is in just three short months. And then the company, it shuts down for the next nine months. That's right. They don't sell a single unit for the rest of the year. And they still clear$800 million a year. And that's in less th...

Send us Fan Mail Americans have a long tradition of turning just about any excuse into a celebration, and a lot of those celebrations happen to involve raising a glass. From the green beer of St. Patrick’s Day to the champagne toasts of New Year's Eve, the beads and parties of Mardi Gras, the margaritas of Cinco de Mayo, backyard coolers on Independence Day, watch parties for Super Bowl Sunda...

Send us Fan Mail Intro Hey everybody — it’s just me today. The boys are out in the world doing interesting and presumably productive things. So this week we’re doing a bit of a clip show. I dug through the archives and pulled out four pretty strong clips that, as far as I know, you’ve never heard before. Today Dave will talk about life on the road, meeting some of his literary friends...

Send us Fan Mail It’s Saturday night, 1984. We’re twelve years old, fueled by popcorn, Mountain Dew, and the belief that the mall is the center of the universe. A sleepover was the golden opportunity—old enough to roam free but too young to get into the "good" movies. Tonight, we’re rewinding the tape to those Saturdays when freedom still had a curfew and you could drink 12 Mt Dews and s...
