Debut Buddies

Can you believe John let us into his home? This week John, returning guest Kharis Eppstein, and new guest Wendy Littlepage (Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys) go head-to-head-to-head on topics such as Kim Jong-un's Peace Puppies, Operation Snowcap, Hands Across America, "Chasing the Dragon", the North Sentinel Island Missionary, and Dr. Seuss books... Would you listen in a boat...

Boy howdy, this is a big one! Shannon, John, and I are joined by returning guest Brice Maiurro (South Broadway Ghost Society), and first-timers Josh Mattison (Denver Orbit podcast), Rachel Trignano (Write Club Denver), and Cory Byrom (Write Club Denver). In a quest to win The Floppy Disc from 1995's THE NET Starring Sandra Bullock Technological Foresight Award, these remarkable contestants clash m...

This week, backed by the loudest music the Snug has to offer, we're joined by special guest, auditor, Kharis Eppstein to yell about (and sing about) topics like Monorail, Stan Lee (RIP), the Dutch man who is suing to lower his age, flash fiction, and a sidebar on Child Kibble. The sound... Oh, the sound! It's a little rough this week. Sorry! We had fun anyway, and so can you! Want to name the vict...

She's back Shan Fans, and she's letting the Podcast RECORD INSIDE THE HOUSE. We're not at the Snug this week, and in addition to usual guest John Peros (and the aformentioned Shan), we welcome poet, professor, and point guard Brian Dickson to the program. It gets a little nutty this week. There's a dog (Xander)! And topics include Kanye West's recent politics, Charles Manson and the Beach Boys (du...

John faces off against special guests Becca Lipman and Courtney Law for our first listener-submitted trophy, the Victors Chalice of Surely Affirmative Rogers. (Thanks, Rex!) This episode is Shannon-free as she battles the ancient forces of a Mummy's Curse. Topics include the 14th Amendment, songs by the band Bush, Fraggle Rock and Alewives. And Nate tries to orchestrate a late tie score, leading t...

In this episode that considers what a mirror universe Nate might be like, we talk about Social Security, Venom, and the Lacroix fizzy water poison controversy with guests Eric Berkemeyer (Denver Art Museum) and Brice Maiurro (Punketry; South Broadway Ghost Society). Brice makes up a guy named Sonny Mann as creator of the DIY Punk Ethic, and we all learn a very special lesson about fibbing on A Vag...

On episode two, we're back and similarly as better than ever as we were in the first episode, but MORE. Topics for John and Shannon include the UN Climate Report, Halloween (film), New Wave music, A Star Is Born and some other things about which they both have at least a vague idea... Kinda. Sorta. Plus, John goes deep on the National Weather Service! And Shannon knows someone who allegedly ran of...

A Vague Idea is a pseudo-game show podcast hosted by Nate Ragolia with Shannon Paige and John Peros. On each episode, guests discuss a list of topics, claiming if they KNOW IT, KINDA GET IT, or only have A VAGUE IDEA, and winning "points". After each topic has been covered, a winner is crowned... but for how long? On the inaugural episode, set to the sounds of playoff baseball, we discus...
