Deb's Podcast

Sadly, even the greatest intercessor, can sometimes be forgotten.  I make it a point to always include our holy Mother Mary as I journal with you in every podcast.  Mary is so very worthy of remembrance!  The holy mother of God.  Mary, Stella Maris! The Star of the Sea, watching over every one of God's children, morning, noon, and night.  We rely on her fully to hear our cry for help when hel...

Pope Leo XIII  "    We ought to pray and invoke the Holy Spirit, for each of us greatly needs his protection and His help.  The more a man is deficient in wisdom, weak in strength, borne down with trouble, prone to sin, so ought he the more fly to Him who is the never ceasing Fount of Light, Strength, Consolation and Holiness." The novena in honor of the Holy Ghost is the oldest of all n...

How great is your desire to know Christ?  Do you desire him so much that you would be willing to place him at the very helm of your daily life?   Would you be willing to make Christ the most important part of your life?  Would you be willing to die for him, as he died for you?  Christ desires this gift of eternal life for all humanity, but I question, does humanity desire eternal life with Christ?...

We will never fully know the power of every prayer we ever said in the silence of our own heart in the company of Jesus Christ.  When we return to Jesus one day, I will have that answer given to me I am most sure of it.  For now, we are oh so, way too busy to recognize the great fruit within us and we miss the opportunity to say or show our thankfulness to our Lord in full.  For today, and every d...

Our God is a God of order.  And for Him to create the entire universe, He had to be  orderly.  In His perfection were  are all made perfect.  In the womb of our very mother.  Christ was present from the moment of conception He created flesh, bone, cells, veins, arteries, lungs, heart, brain, feet, hands, eyes, nose, lips, hair, ears, throat, tongue, every single part of you was made by Him - for H...

Allow me to exemplify upon this most precious wonderful gift of when we readily accept God as our Lord and Saviour.  It is then, we are a forever changed people. We never want to stop growing in his presence.  Why is that you may ask, well, I believe it is because, when we accept Him, we invite Him into the interior cell of our being. We are much more aware of our accountability, and we become mor...

Prayer. It changes us.  We may not always see it at first but later we learn that prayer strips us of all the things that we do not need to be carrying around with us for the journey.  I call it excess baggage.  Its time to get rid of the things that weigh us down.  And when we do we can breathe easier and live happier productive lives.   Layer upon layer this excess weight is stripped from the co...

As we continue our prayerful journey together tonight, I ask God to guide you very personally into this novena.  The deeper we go into the prayerful life the more meaningful our life will become.  To be rich in Christ, is to be rich in His love.  His love for us is tremendous.  More so contagious!  Those of you blessed to be walking with the Lord for a very long time know this truth.  I don't...

What a great way to begin this Lenten Season 2023!  We welcome our Lord and enter into this most sacred time within His holy presence.  The longer I walk with Christ, all the more I want to be totally devoted as His own.  I love our faith.  It is so welcoming.  And when we see how real and alive we are in Christ, we live out the beginning of our eternity on earth.  How blessed we truly are to know...

What is it about prayer that opens us up to the Holy Spirit?  Do we even understand what this means?  I believe we are given these special prayers to recite for a reason, mainly I believe, to help us find our way, and to help save our very souls from final damnation, the very soul that our Lord himself gave to us personally.  One cannot see ones soul.  However, ones soul does, in fact, exist.  It...

We are reminded about the great corporeal and spiritual works of mercy that God himself has commissioned to each and every person he has ever created.  Especially today as I reflect upon the life of service offered by Bishop David G. O' Connell.  His desire to do Gods work was obviously great!  Today after reading about his life works as a priest, associate pastor, and bishop, I was reminded...

This Novena will change what God wants for you to change in your life.   If it is the light of Jesus you are truly desiring to experience, I personally encourage you to recite this novena.   Just this past week, the week before my dads first anniversary of his death, I was given the vision of light.  It followed me throughout my home, morning, noon, and night.   That illumination at first alarmed...

Every podcast I record in conjunction with Christ is meant just for you!  God's special purpose has yet to be born in you.  And yet he calls me personally to invite you to work everyday on yourself, in becoming great for God. The importance of placing so much emphasis here is not of my doing whatsoever, it is Christ himself guiding the destiny of his cherished loved ones in February of 2023 t...

God.  Yes, God....  He, the great I AM, He alone,  has great plans for us.  It's just we are too busy to be in his silent company.  What a loss!  And yet we choose everything but Him!  And an entire lifetime, passes.  A lifetime that should have been and was intended by God to be a treasure, and a  gift, becomes a great loss.  And it is given to us and sometimes we destroy the intent of the g...

What if, we could become, the person, knowing, everything God has taught us and chose for us to live out, would lead us eventually,  to our new and improved best self  living out our best life?  We are no longer the person we use to be, we have become better.  How then would the world look at us?  Would they hold onto the old self or look at what God has accomplished in us today.  I wonder.  Today...
