Hi there and thanks for tuning in to this newly rebranded podcast, Death by Multimedia, a title I borrowed from the first ever podcast I did with my eldest daughter Jessica. Seeing as though I have split this podcast into three sections over the years – TV and movies, sports and music, and created two other podcasts to handle the weight of the sports and music side of things, I have decided to give this podcast a bit of a spit and polish and rebrand and republish. So, I hope you’ll stick with me as we explore movies, TV shows, streaming platforms, documentaries and even the odd introspective.

Dry July vs #31DaysOfScotch vs Truth Serum 27.07.2023

In recent years, July in Australia has become the arid wasteland for tens of thousands of drinkers as they undertake the Dry July campaign, a 31 day stretch where they raise funds to support cancer sufferers by saying no to alcohol consumption. Life of Brian - A Fanatics Audio Commentary 07.04.2023

Most poeple with any sort of taste in comedy and movies have seen the classic Monty Python film, Life of Brian. Now well over 40 years old, it is still one of the best and most cutting and humorous films ever made, with scenes and lines that are still quoted today. At some stage in the last 25 years, it became a tradition in my household to rewatch it every Easter, while others instead go to churc...
