On December 31st 1992, Fantazia put on an event at Littlecote House nr Newbury for 16,000 ravers. Some of the UK's finest DJs were invited to play at the event and a great time was had by all, despite the cold. The Prodigy were founded in 1990 in Essex by Liam Howlett, Leeroy Thornhill & Keith Flint, joined shortly after by MC Maxim Reality. They went on to make some of the most recognised rave/breakbeat/hardcore tunes in the scene. This mix takes almost all of the tracks from the experience album as well as the singles and demos from 1990-93.

Sy-Kick was an English techno/house band in the early 1990s, a duo consisting of Brad Carter and Mark French. The two made a name initially in the English rave scene. Their first hit was a track called 'Upside' then they followed that up with 'Nasty', an extremely successful piano techno-house track which in May 1992 made it far up onto the British dance charts and the video was often seen on MTV....

UK Hardcore Label, sub-label of Formation Records from 92-94. It was not run by DJ SS (as often assumed) but was in fact Marc Yorath's label - He was Formation's Engineer at the time. For this mix I have taken every track from releases 1-16

Carl Cox was one of my inspirations for getting behind the decks back in 1990. I would grab his tapes whenever I could and try to get to The Eclipse whenever he played. This is a mix taking almost the same tunes from his set for Amnesia House, commonly known as Carl Cox Eclipse 12. Hope you enjoy my take on this one....
