Daily Prayer at Crossroads Abbey

Morning lessons: Psalms 115; Joshua 24; Galatians 2.  Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto your Name give the praise, for your loving mercy and for your truth’s sake.

Evening lessons: Psalms 113, 114; Ezekiel 35; Acts 15:36-16:5.  Praise the Lord.  Sing praises you servants of the Lord; O praise the Name of the Lord.

Morning lessons: Psalms 111, 112; Joshua 23; Galatians 1.  Praise the Lord.  I will give thanks unto the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, and among the congregation.  

Evening lessons: Psalms 109; Ezekiel 34; Acts 15:22-35.  Hold not your tongue, O God of my praise, for the mouth of the ungodly, the mouth of the deceitful is opened upon me.

Morning lessons: Psalms 108, 110; Joshua 22; Luke 24:13-53.  O God, my heart is fixed, my heart is firmly fixed; I will sing and give praise with the best that I have.

Evening lessons: Psalms 107:23-43; Ezekiel 33; Acts 15:1-21.  Those who go down to the sea in ships…they behold the works of the Lord and his wonders in the deep.

Morning lessons: Psalms 107:1-22; Joshua 14; Luke 23:50-24:12.  O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is gracious; and his mercy endures forever.

Evening lessons: Psalms 106:19-46; Ezekiel 18; Acts 14:8-28.  They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped a golden image.

Morning lessons: Psalms 106:1-18; Joshua 10; Luke 23:26-49.  O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is gracious; and his mercy endures forever.

Evening lessons: Psalms 105:23-44; Ezekiel 17; Acts 13:44-14:7.  Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob was a stranger in the land of Ham.

Morning lessons: Psalms 105:1-22; Joshua 9; Luke 23:1-25.  Give thanks unto the Lord and call upon his Name; tell the peoples what things he has done.

Evening lessons: Psalms 104; Ezekiel 14; Acts 13.  Praise the Lord, O my soul.  O Lord my God, you have become exceedingly glorious; you are clothed with majesty and honor.

Morning lessons: Psalms 103; Acts 4:32-37; Luke 22:54-71.  Praise the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, praise his holy Name.

Evening lessons: Psalms 102; Ezekiel 15; Acts 12:25-13:12 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto you.

Morning lessons: Psalms 99, 100, 101; Joshua 8; Luke 22:39-53.  The Lord is King; let the people tremble’ he sits between the cherubim; let the earth shake.  

Evening lessons: Psalms 97, 98; Ezekiel 14; Acts 12:1-24.  The Lord is King; let the earth be glad.  Indeed, let the multitude of the isles be glad.

Morning lessons: Psalms 95, 96; Joshua 7; Luke 22:1-28.  O come, let us sing unto the Lord; let us heartily rejoice in the strength of our salvation.

Evening lessons: Psalms 94; Ezekiel 13; Acts 11:19-30.  O Lord God to whom vengeance belongs, O God to whom vengeance belongs, show yourself.

Morning lessons: Psalms 92, 93; Joshua 6; Luke 21:5-38.  It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto your Name, O Most High.

Evening lessons: Psalms 91; Ezekiel 12; Acts 11:1-18.  Whoever dwells under the defense of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Morning lessons: Psalms 90; Joshua 5; Luke 20:27-21:4.  Lord, you have been our refuge from one generation to another.

Evening lessons: Psalms 89:19-51; Ezekiel 11; Acts 10:24-48.  You spoke in a vision to your saints, and said, “I have set the crown upon one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.”

Morning lessons: Psalms 89:1-18; Joshua 4; Luke 20:1-26.  My song shall be always of the loving-kindness of the Lord; with my mouth will I ever be proclaiming your faithfulness, from one generation to another.

Evening lessons: Psalms 88; Ezekiel 10; Acts 10:1-23.  O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you; O let my prayer enter into your presence; incline your ear to my call.

Morning lessons: Psalms 86, 87; Joshua 6; Luke 21:5-38.  Bow down your ear, O Lord, and hear me, for I am poor and in misery.
