Happy New Year and welcome to 2024.  Today we talk about beginnings and what that may mean in your area of influence. 

2023 is coming to an end, let's slow down, reflect and get SMART for 2024 as we begin a new chapter in our areas of influence. 

I am We.  Yes, I am the accumulation of all those people who have influenced me prior to this moment, it does not define me but they have all influenced me and are part of the me/we of today.   I discuss our belief in I am We and it is why We all matter; we all have amazing influence.  

We oftentimes accept what we see at face value, we ignore the details even when they are obvious.  This is part of intellectual laziness and so much more.   We will discuss why the details matter and how we have created a SMART way to help us be better at the details.  

We are all intellectually lazy.  When we accept any influence without questioning it and know its not quite right; we are being intellectually lazy.   We discuss how being intellectually lazy and influence us in both our personal and professional lives.  

This the Season to be Happy.   It does not matter if you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Santa or nothing; this is generally a season of happiness around the world.   Listen as we discuss why your opinion of others celebrations should be held silent; be happy with your own area of influence during these joyous times and let others have theirs too. 

Are you easily distracted? Do you procrastinate?  You can help yourself by taking a position where you will self-educate through these distractions by understanding why you use them in your areas of influence.   Stop self-justifying your distractions and procrastination and begin to understand them from a perspective of learning why they are part of you.

Inclusion is not about letting anyone be included in all things at all times.  It's a position we take that says; we will provide for an inclusive area of influence, in whatever area of influence we have, and where others' influence is beneficial.   Listen as we define what inclusion is in the overall areas of influence of life.

 Equality should not be about everyone being equal in everything.  Indeed, as far as race, religion, gender or any other human characteristic, we should all be and are equal.  But, in our areas of influence your equality can begin to shift depending on your participation and engagement; Not all things are meant to be equal.
