When you go fishing, no telling what you might catch. What will you do with what you catch today?

Know how God expects us to treat each other, and may we help people grow and be a blessing to many people.

How is your church or your business recognizing what doesn’t need to change, and what does need to change, and have the courage to adapt to changes? 

Know the culture of the place that you are putting a new person or a new structure and be sure they can complement each other.

 I would hope the school library boards would give a strong affirmation of the Bible—our forefathers did.

Don’t let age be a deterrent. You don’t have to set a record, but you do need to always have some goal in mind at every stage in life. 

What if everybody in America went to the polls committed to “wanting the best for the community.” That’s a good approach to voting.

Are you willing today to go the extra mile or as many miles as it takes?

Think before you act and don’t do something foolish or stupid. If you do, take responsibility.

 In an unexpected situation, Pamela made the young boy’s day, and the mom who was extremely grateful because it helped her get through a “guilt trip.” Always be ready to help someone.

Write a note or make a phone call to a former teacher and thank them. Teachers give so much more than any of us know about—sometimes even an organ transplant.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, be ready, trained, and jump into action when you see a need. It may be something mental, physical, or spiritual—you just might save somebody’s life.

 Just acknowledge your inability, then affirm that person as being important in the sight of God. People don’t need their names pronounced correctly as much as they need solid, sincere, and positive affirmation.

Where are we spending our energy? I hope you and your church will exceed 6,000 car batteries’ worth of power in making a difference to help people in need.

 In the church, we need to communicate in the right language this important message. It’s the only way to end the problem of the war created by sin that separates us from God. Let’s end that war.

 I hope all delegates of all parties take those principles with them to their conventions and back home to the people they represent.

You might get fired by a human employer for following biblical examples, but pleasing God for this life and eternity is something you cannot lose. Be sure you go about the right strategy in life.

We need to offer words of encouragement to each other, not repeating something that is probably not true. Keeping our mouths shut is often the very best policy. Speak only good positive words to people today.

I believe that when people have a sense of a nation that’s worth dying for, it will also be a place where it’s worth people visiting.

We need to know that God is in control. I pray today we will place our trust in Him and know that the real victory is in His plan for your life. David trusted Him—you can too.

Look around and find someone who is a genuine Christ follower, and that will be the best reason to buy into everything that Jesus teaches.

 Integrity of lifestyle and an understanding of marriage ought to be a course that New York judges might take—and the rest of us as well.

I would also remind us that we need to teach people who receive the sacraments the importance of living our Christian faith. Before we criticize the priest or the woman, let’s evaluate how well we offer Christ’s love to every person.

Paul describes the only kind of love that will take marriage to a new level that will last a lifetime. Build your marriage on Biblical concepts and it can become a blessing rather than a problem in life.

More importantly in life, God has offered joy, happiness, peace, and grace and it is always 100 percent true. God’s promises are always consistent in what He says they are. You can count on that.
