Luke 19:28-44. We do not have a high priest who is unable to commiserate with he deepest of lows in our lives. Jesus understands heartache, trouble, and devastation. Won’t you turn to him today for comfort, for truly He knows how to give it.

Luke 19:11-27. How should we be thinking about the things the Lord has blessed us with? How can we use these things and multiply them to grow the Kingdom of God now, not simply waiting for the triumphal return?

Luke 19:1-10. Pray that the Lord might protect you from the destructive nature of sin and to change your heart if it ever be so ensnared.

Luke 18:31-43. The Lord Jesus, the Son of the Most High would be treated with contempt by those He had created. How do we reconcile these truths in our mind and how can we focus our minds and hearts on loving Jesus?

Luke 18:15-30. What are the things that would give you pause if Jesus asked you to give them up for His name’s sake?

Luke 18:1-14 accompanied by parent’s commentary. We must cling to the throne of grace until our prayers are answered…even if it takes a lifetime.

Luke 17:5-19. If someone is only doing their job, is it the requirement of the employer to thank them for their hard work? No, they have only done that which is required. How can we continue on in faith and service when we don’t feel recognized for it?

Luke 17:1-4. We must never “affirm” that which God calls sin. Tolerance is not acceptance.

Luke 16:19-31. It can be terrifying to accept and believe in Jesus when you have family members who would spend an eternity in hell if Jesus is real. How can we think rightly about this reality?

Luke 16:14-18. The Pharisees were lovers of money rather than lovers of God. They put this on display when they ridiculed Jesus after Jesus told the parable of the dishonest manager. I wonder if we too think this way sometimes…

Luke 13:10-21. The Kingdom of God started small in the world with only 12 followers and grew into a worldwide phenomenon. So also does it start small in your own heart until it pervades every aspect of your life.

Luke 13:1-9. The Lord is long suffering and patient, but how long can you continue in your ways before the Lord says no longer. “You can run on for a long time, but sooner or later, God’s gonna cut you down.”

Luke 12:54-59. We spend more time today analyzing entertainment than we do the holy and life-giving Word of God. Lord, turn our hearts and minds heavenwards that we may think on things that are pure, righteous, and good.

Luke 12:41-53. To whom much is given, much will be required. If you are listening to this right now, you are blessed beyond belief. Think about the access you have been granted to spiritual things every second of the day!

Luke 12:32-40. To what end do we relentlessly store up treasures for ourselves? The future we are looking forward to is one where Christ returns and gathers us up to his banquet feast where our worldly treasures matter not any longer. What are you living for today?

Luke 12:22-31. Who do we turn to when anxiety overwhelms us? With so many things always happening so quickly, what are practical steps we can take to find the calm in the storm?
