Having recently retired (late 2020), after working for 36 years in 'Information Technology', I feel qualified to create this tribute to the age of computers. Done in the style of Tangerine Dream, or perhaps 'Tangerine Dream light'. All synths played by me in Logic Pro X, plus a customised drummer track.

A track to describe how it feels to try and pick your heart up from the floor, and start a new life. The backing track was mostly created in BlocsWave, with some manual GB cello / bells / drums and a few other loops (vibes) plus my own vocals and lyrics.

I'm recently retired and planning to explore much more of the Australian Alps including driving the 339 kilometres on the Victorian Alpine Road from Wangaratta to Bairnsdale and the exploring Australian Alpine Walking Track (maybe one day doing the whole 655 kilometres). Let's face it, it couldn't get much worse.

Fear of the dark forest

I feel the warmth of the Sun's rays with every dawn.

My wife and I separated in early November, 2020. This is one of my Apple loop mixes / compositions.

I feel like I'm starting over again, as this is my first track using GB but this time on my new iPad Pro. It was a mostly impromptu performance. The track is intended to convey a sense of poignancy as, without going into too much detail here, I'm going through a bit of a personal crisis. As always, I turn to music to ease me through the pain.

After travelling deep into strange, almost organic, tunnels we came upon an entrance high up on the slopes ahead. From the chamber within, an intense white light shone forth. Only hesitating momentarily our curiosity drove us on...

2020 feels like we need to wake up from a bad dream (pandemic+lockdown), one that the whole world is sharing.
