We met in person last Friday and decided to watch... movies. This was one weird movie marathon, where we jumped around genres, ate tons of snacks, and felt completely differently about each of them. Join us on this weird review/recap.

Do you remember Vanilla Sky (2001)? That film was actually a remake of a 1997 Spanish film called Abre los Ojos (Open your Eyes). Let's review it!

We decided to watch a new movie this time. It's one that most people are talking about more thanks to its behind the scenes drama, so it's kind of fun. Florence Pugh and Chris Pine are both great in it... but everything else, well... is not very good.

Gabe had (inexplicably) never seen First Blood (1982), even though he'd seen some of the sequels. Let's talk about this film that holds up better than most.

Gabe has been trying to catch up on John Carpenter films, so we watched "The Fog" this week. It's a horror cult classic, so what did we think of it?

Do you like Top Gun? Do you like Randy Quaid? Go no further than Days of Thunder, a film that is inexplicably not talked about as much. Tony Scott directed it, Tom Cruise is in it - let's go!

We apparently did not get enough of our John Woo fix when we reviewed "Broken Arrow", so we're bringing our friend Lo to discuss one of Woo's earlier movies: "Hard Boiled", starring two greats: Chow Yun-fat and Tony Leung.

"Halo" keeps getting better in this not-as-action-packed episode: "Solace".

We took a week off, but we're catching up.
