In this episode of Nueva York, we get to meet artist Gemma Gené, the cast of "De Novo," -a documentary theater production- Secretary of State Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez and Nuyorican filmmaker Judith Escalona.

We begin this episode in Washington, celebrating the Women's March first anniversary. Back in NYC, we interview filmmaker Juan Carlos Rulfo, Guatemalan immigrant Amanda Morales and financial experts Rohit Arora and Laura Pierce.

We start with trans activist Bianey García and then we meet Spanish guitarist Antonio Sánchez and The Paco de Lucía Project. Later, we interview literary translator Jill Levine and end up chatting with Puerto Rican actor and director Daniel Irizarry.
