Bârak Bârak means to kneel, salute, or thank. To Bârak is to come and bless God with an act of adoration; the idea being to bow down before Him. This physical position is a very powerful one. Tehillâh Tehillâh means to sing a song of praise, a new song, or a spontaneous song. A biblical way to worship God is through song. Not a song someone else has written for you to sing; an original song that comes from your heart. Psalm 22:3 tells us this is the only kind of praise that God inhabits! Tôwdâh Tôwdâh means to make a sacrifice of praise, or a sacrifice of thanksgiving. Similar to Yadah, it also means to extend your hands. In the Psalms it appears in a way of thanking God for things you have not yet received, as well as things you have.
