Barracuda Bonus (10.29.25) SJ: 0 SD: 3 30.10.2025

The San Jose Barracuda (2-4-0-0) were shutout for the first time this season on Wednesday night, falling 3–0 to the San Diego Gulls (2-3-1-0) at Pechanga Arena. Gulls’ backstop Ville Husso turned aside all 27 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season and 17th of his AHL career. It was also the first time the Barracuda were shutout by the Gulls since 2018.

The San Jose Barracuda (2-3-0-0) bounced back on Saturday night, edging the Milwaukee Admirals (2-1-1-0) 3-2 at Tech CU Arena to split the weekend series. On the day he signed his first NHL contract, rookie netminder Gabe Carriere made 34 saves to help the San Jose Barracuda (29-30-3-3) shutout the Abbotsford Canucks (28-23-2-1) on Friday night at the Abbotsford Centre. The San Jose Barracuda (25-16-2-3) never trailed on Saturday night at the Mechanics Arena Bank, but it would take a third-period goal from Andrew Poturalski to finally put the Condors (20-17-5-2) away, 4-3. With the win, the Barracuda snapped a five-game road losing skid and improved to 2-2-1-0 against the Oilers’ affiliate this season.
