Crying in My Car: A Podcast for Teachers

Hey all! Devin here. I am uploading this episode without listening, but every time I leave Mike and Greg to do an episode without me, all hell breaks loose. So just know, that while the primary teacher is out (me), I will read the sub notes(your complaints) upon my return. Buzz the teacher next door if the class (episode) is out of hand. 

Devin went on a bad date in high school that Angers the Texan even further. Mike leads a July 4th Teach the Teacher that ends with a bang. Lastly, we have part 2 of our interview with Billy Townsend where we discuss the ongoing societal changes and how they could be implemented into the classroom. 

We are heading back into the ring this week for another teacher wrestling event for the ages. We discuss Mike's weekend back on stage performing comedy. And we have a very important guest on the show, Billy Townsend, a school board member that is going to discuss with us the options for reopening schools. 

Devin was out for this episode so The Angry Texan, Greg Perritt, and Mike Lee went it alone. What did they discuss? You have to listen to find out, but rest assured it will be hysterical. 

A teacher is in trouble for changing more grades than I have every input in my entire life. Teach the Teacher is a major "Don't for Devin. Are we just guiding children to the protest before they actually know what they are protesting? And a teacher cold case is begging to be solved in Texas. 

Devin dishes on Garth Brooks and crying uncontrollably. Teach the Teacher comes down to a photo finish. And Greg gets passionate about everything. 

What is a teacher wedding like? Jeff NotWorthy stops by to fill us in. Teach the Teacher goes geographic. Devin discusses the plans to reopen schools and how we may be failing before we even start. 

Devin breaks down his (unpopular) opinion on Charter Schools and calls out some organizations in the process. Teach the teachers has Greg singing a different tune... the losing one. And Devin discusses ways in which we can get off social media and not lose a step. 

Devin gets a once in a lifetime message on Twitter and has no idea how to respond. We discuss the current culture climate and how it seems that even the laughter is lost at times like these. And lastly, teachers everywhere are finding out that the internet lasts forever. 

Teachers are taking to the street... for stay at home parades. We provide the commentary. Devin discusses his cool experience with Postcards4Kids and the Billy Madison problem. Another Teach the Teacher competition but Greg doesn't stand a chance. 

We discuss our response to the ongoing protests and have a bit of a back and forth debate over what is right and wrong. Teach the Teacher has a comeback win for the ages. And lastly, Devin tells us how teachers can still get the most out of their 2020 Summer Break.

Devin takes to a new social media platform and obviously has massive success.... if only Ellen knew. We discuss a Bret Favre teacher surprise, another Ellen teacher giveaway, and lastly Mike quizzes Devin and Greg on essential teacher movies!

We do a top 10 of Things We Learned during the last two months of distance learning. Mike throws some questions Devin's way and he fails miserably. Teachers in the news makes our stomachs churn, and not in the good "about to get on Splash Mountain" way. Enjoy!

We discuss a teacher in prison that is filing for divorce and have the exclusive audio of how that request went. Shows are happening again and Devin runs down what it is like to be back on stage. Teachers in Florida were cut off from some help a little too early and we are just as outraged. Enjoy!

Today we talk about the difficulties of putting on the live show online, and what it is like to teach kids today that may not have had the same tech as you. Video game discussion galore and a teacher has an "interesting" way to get a hug. 

Mr. Feeny gives teachers the appreciation they deserve, and Devin has a good cry about it. We discuss the need for education in the future to avoid debacles like we are seeing in the US today. And lastly, we discuss our teacher crushes when we were in school! 

The boys needed a little break, but that doesn't mean the laughter stops. We compiled this special edition "best of" that includes a few of our favorite previous segments. Enjoy!

We did a special live broadcast from our Facebook page, and our listeners did not disappoint with roasting Mike and Devin. We covered teachers in the news, a follow up to a credit card debacle, and Devin's kids steal the show.

Mike takes it over today for an episode and talks about some home projects he has in the works, and his "special" love for his girlfriend's dog. Teachers in the News has some uplifting and positive stories along with some tips for students and parents. 

Mike is back, and so is the beer talk. Devin and Mike discuss the state of education during the pandemic, and funny ways teachers are dealing with it. A teacher likes to serenade the neighborhood, and Mike debuts his newest song. Enjoy!
