For some reason we decided to talk about 2026's remaining games that we're excited for...a month before Summer Games Fest season. Also, Cass can't get past the Deku Tree. Are there any tips for doing that? Thanks to Yacht Club Games for the early review code! Kevin got to play all of Mina the Hollower, and is able to give an early preview of his thoughts before his final review in a few weeks. We know you've been very curious to hear how this game is turning out, so tune in for his impressions! Also, we apologize for what we do to the word "composer" at the end of this episode. Check out the game he...

Much like how everything is crab, everything in games seems to increasingly be 'Pick 3'...well, not EVERYTHING, but it sure is becoming prevalent. You level up, 3 options appear, you pick 1, and then play for another minute until you have to pick 3 again. When it's great, it's fantastic, but as it becomes more pervasive will the charm wear off? DISCLOSURE: Kevin (The Golden Bolt) received an advance copy of Saros from PlayStation There are many spiritual successors to video games. Some are intentional homages, such as Akimbot, and others unintentionally capture specific essences and remind us of something we love. Saros reminds us why we love Ratchet & Clank. Akimbot...does not. MORE PLACES TO FIND US Crubscribe ► https://bit.ly/Crub...

We're, somehow, a year and change away from seeing the next generation of Xbox and PlayStation hardware. The Steam Machine and Steam Frame are lurking in a nebulous "may release in 2026" limbo. There's an ocean of Android handhelds releasing seemingly weekly. So...are we too old to really be excited by any of this? What could really get us hyped? We went into our topic fridge and pulled out a bunch of leftovers to make a roulette of random topics. We cover a LOT of random things! As #Gamers, sometimes we just hit a wall randomly on games we're enjoying. Life gets in the way, we lose a save file, something frustrates us...so why do we never go back? Is it worth it when we do? Breath of the Wild brought a surge of new and returning players to Zelda, but it left core fans of the traditional 3D style yearning for another entry in that style. While it seems like the open world style is here to stay...should it? We realized that we...don't care that much! Also, we recorded this right before the Ocarina of Time remake rumors started swirling again, so it's accidentally very...

Some of us finally watched The Minecraft Movie recently, and it had us thinking. If there were still bad video game tie-ins for movies and shows, what are the worst ones we could think of? Some games have hours of lore for you to sift and read through. Some choose to offload it to other materials, like books, short films, or websites. An ARG isn't out of the question now and then...but we have to ask, when is it too much? When does it actually matter? If it isn't part of the main experience, is it adding that much? We're tired of being nice to games. These so-called "best games of all time" need to be knocked down a peg, and we're going to figure out which one is actually the BEST worst game. Not the game that is the best, but the one that is the best at being the worst.
