Our second episode of The Invitation explores Luke 19 and focuses on two specific stories. First, Jesus bestows salvation upon the repentant Zacchaeus. And finally, Jesus enters Jerusalem during His final week before the cross, flipping tables and clearing out the cluttered temple area that stands between the people and their worship of God.

The Invitation teaching series begins with an exploration of Luke 18 led by Pastor Tim. Hear the call of Christ to follow Him and in so doing become His invitation to the world.

This Campus Week Pastor Dave shares a special statement from the Crosswalk teaching team and invites us to consider the beatitude of Matthew 5:9, "blessed are the peacemakers."

Our New Wine series concludes with a message from Pastor Dave titled More. Here, we walk through the the Gospel of John's story of the wedding feast at Cana in which Jesus creates new wine, and we consider that in a world of "no more wine" and too many "not enough" moments, Jesus is always More.

During this fourth episode of our New Wine series, Pastor Dave takes a moment to address a controversy facing the Crosswalk Chattanooga family and encourages love and patience as we build one another up. Then, the message shifts to Matthew 11 and Jesus' invitation for a deep connection with Him. He promises that, while life is difficult, there is rest and light when partnered with Him.

Today, we consider the notion of change. We are resistant to change, always preferring the comfort of the familiar. But new wine requires change... new wineskins. And how do we reconcile God introducing new wine if He claims to "never change?" Is it possible that two seemingly opposite things can be true: "God never changes" and "God always changes?"

Today we launch the first series of the 2024 year, New Wine. Pastor Tim challenges us with the metaphor from Jesus in extension of the vineyard metaphors He so often uses. Through this teaching, we pose the question, Is it just new wineskins (new styles, forms, and practices) we need? Or do we need something new to fill the skins?... New Wine.

Today we all meet together in one service giving our volunteers a much needed break... Crosswalk Unplugged. This family service titled "The Zoo" will include a story told by all of our children, lots of stuffed animals and a challenge to ask God for an incredible gift as the new year approaches.

Our Adventure series concludes with an exploration of the experience of Mary and Joseph as Jesus' parents and the first to believe He was the Messiah. We conclude there is something God has for us to do that is similar to the challenge Mary and Joseph embarked upon in the first century.

Our third episode in the Christmas Adventure series looks at the incarnation of Christ through the eyes of the angels mentioned in various passages of our story.

Today's journey through the adventure of the Christmas story considers the dangerous world Jesus came to under Roman rule and the violent leadership of King Herod. But as we explore the gift of the baby born in a manger, we just might discover a perfect gift to give Jesus.
