CrossRoads Danville Podcast

It's Thanksgiving weekend and what better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than with a Message on Gratitude. Today Miles is preaching from the book of Daniel as we dive in and wrap up our series titled, "What Does Love Demand?" looking at Gratitude.

Preaching from Acts 7:51-60, we had the opportunity to dive in to the story of Stephen. Being Salt & Light in Stephen's case is brought out through him Loving His Enemies, and we're called to the same life.

Using Scripture from Numbers 11-20, we understand that loving people can be difficult sometimes. But God hasn't called us to only do things that are easy. Living this life of loving those around us is going to come with challenges. It's also important to remember, sometimes we're the ones that are the challenge!

We're into a new series for the month of November, and this one will not disappoint. The way the world describes what love is in contrast to the love Jesus talks about and shows through his life are drastically different. Today, the primary text forthe Message can be found in John 13:33-35.

We hurry through life, we let the world around us influence us and we forget that this is just the start! Check out this week's message and refocus your life around Jesus as The Way, The Truth and The Life.

Sometimes referred to as the aspect of God that is forgotten, today we take a look at how we should be united around the Holy Spirit. Our main Scripture today is from Galatians 5:16-26.

We only have a few weeks remaining of our Series on Unity. Today the Message is coming from 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. In the world but not of the world is almost a controversial thing to say at times. But today we want to take a look at what it means to really love as Jesus loved us. What does it mean to love your neighbor as yourself?

Another week in this series on Unity. Preaching from John 11:1-4 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-58. Why do I have to endure pain now? Why can't we go to heaven now? Why the suffering, the broken, the ugly of this world?

Continuing in our Unity Series. Preaching from 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We believe in the truth of God's Word, but what does that mean for our life?

Jesus unites us. Preaching from John 17:20-26. Want to be a witness to our world, be united in our One True God.

Set apart for the Mission of Christ. Preaching from John 17:6-9. We point everyone around us toward the One True God.

Who is Jesus Christ? Preaching from John 17:1-5. Being honest about difficult times that come in life, and praying for one another as we all follow Jesus together.
