God seeks more from us than just the right words. He seeks repentant hearts that, in complete trust in him, will receive his gracious work in purifying our lives. The evidence of God’s salvation will be that we turn away from our sin and to him.

When we try to navigate life on our own terms, the road becomes darker, and pitfalls become larger. When we take control of our own situations, unfaithfulness to one another becomes the norm, but when we allow a faithful God to take control of our life, our relationships with one another grow strong.

A church rises no higher than its pulpit. Where spiritual leaders fail, the spiritual health of the church fails. Even though there are numerous spiritual leaders that fail, there is a Great High Priest who is perfect in all His ways.

Half-hearted devotion and worship is not true worship at all. God will be praised whether you praise Him or not. God is deserving of all praise, honor, and glory, and if we are going to worhsip Him, we must do it in the way that He requires.

God’s love for people is so great that He promised immediately after sin entered the world that He would send us a Savior. He has entrusted this Gospel (Good News) to the Church and all disciples of Jesus. The call of God to the church and individual Christians can be summarized in 4 words: Love, Grow, Serve, and Go.

The righteous judgment of God destroyed all by 8 people and most of the animal world. In perfect mercy and grace, God chose Noah and his family for salvation and a new beginning for the world, but sin was still present. The fallen nature and sinful hearts of people mean we will always stand in need of a Savior. Only in Christ can we be saved.

God’s mercy is on full display as He saves Noah and his family from judgment. God’s gracious blessings are given and promised in the provisions for food, protection, and family. Finally, God announced a covenant relationship through which He will give us time to repent and prepare for the ultimate salvation He will send through Christ.

One of the greatest assurances that we can have as Christians is that God is always with us. He is with us when it feels like He isn't, He is with us in the waiting, and He is with us forever.

God pronounces judgement on sin, and He graciously offers mercy and forgiveness. However, that offer of grace has an expiration date that is unknown to us. We must not ignore His offer and delay our salvation until it is too late.

God’s perfect holiness caused Him to judge the sin of the world. He delivered that judgment through water. Jesus says the next and final judgment will be by fire (2 Peter 3:7-10). Noah was saved only because he trusted God and got in the Ark. Salvation comes now only if you trust God and are “in Christ.”

In just ten generations after Adam and Eve, God looked at humanity and saw such deep, total depravity that He decided His righteous judgment would come against the whole human race except for a man named Noah and his famly. Noah’s salvation, just like yours, was only because of God’s favor (grace).

In the powerful combination o the Father’s plan, Jesus’ work on the Cross, and the Spirit’s power in the resurrection, God secured our Salvation. Without the Resurrection of Jesus and our own spiritual resurrection, we are doomed to a life that is dark, hopeless, and frustrating. If Christ is raised, it changes everything about today and all days to come.

The only way to have acceptance and peace with God is through the fact that Christ was rejected and despised by men. We must not stumble over the stone that so many others have stumbled over. This Cornerstone is the only sure foundation on which we can stand.

Pslam 27 is a song from the heart of a man whose life is full of trouble, danger, and unexpectd turns in life. David teaches us that when we desire God more than anything or anyone else, He will transform our lives and give us strength and grace to endure the trouble.

Becoming a Christian does not remove the presence of trials and adversaries in our lives. However, the God of peace and comfort is our God, and every road that the believer walks is still in the palm of God’s hand.

Scripture tells us that there are 2 ways to live. One comes with His blessing and prosperity, and the other results in God’s judgment and eternal death. The choice centers on the decision you make about who and what will have the greatest influences on your thoughts, character, and the choices you make.

The resurrected Jesus appeared periodically over 40 days, coming to the disciples to teach, encourage, restore, and prepare them for the future. He told them and us that we much proclaim repentance for forgiveness of sins in Christ’s name to all the nations, in the power of the Spirit.

The resurrected Jesus graciously appearedto many of His disciples in the days following the day of the event. Then and now, some believe quickly, some want proof, and some never believe. We are called to know the risen Christ by faith and then go live by faith.

The circumstances of our lives are often overwhelming. Without the resurrection of Jesus, we will be without hope and consumed by fear. Jesus is available to you, but He waits for you to believe in Him and ask Him in.

Something happened on that first Easter morning that no one expected, and no one can ignore. The Christian faith rests entirely on the historicity of the resurrection. If you deny it, you must be able to account for what happened that first Easter morning.

Jesus’ death was necessary for our salvation. When He died on the Cross, there were dozens of witnesses who were each faced with deciding for themselves who Jesus is. In life and death, Jesus showed Himself to be God’s Son and the Savior of men and women.

We come to the Cross and see our King who is willing to die so that we can live. Jesus saves those who acknowledge their great need — their guilt, repent, and put faith in Him.

For years Jesus had been saying that He must go to Jerusalem. It can be understood as the “Divine Necessity.” From eternity the Father knew the Son must die so that we can live. Come to the Cross and see your King. Trust Him with your all and know his salvation.

Jesus Christ is a King with a Kingdom and this Kingdom is not of this world, and yet the entire world cannot escape the reach of His Kingdom. His Kingdom is not of this world, but it certainly can be found in this world.
