The Cross on which Jesus died is vitally important to our faith; it teaches us so much about ourselves and about our God. In part 2 of this series, we learn about the fallen nature of man, the justice of God, the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, and His incredible love for the people He created.

As we focus our hearts on the most important season in the Christian calendar we are going to be exploring: the crown (Christ’s suffering), the cross (His sacrifice), and the tomb, which boldly declares Christ’s Victory!

Over 300 times in the Bible we are told about the voice of God. He knows us and wants us to know His voice. God gets no pleasure from watching His children stumble through life; He actually delights in helping us put one foot in front of the other and one of the ways He does that is by leading us with His voice.

Pastor Brandon Hutzell wraps up this series on walking in the will of God and this week, we examine the closed and opened doors in Ruth's life and what we can learn from her example. Also, we discuss how God's providence plays a role in our specific lives.

If we’re going to walk in the will of God we will have to be people of high character and we have to make ourselves available for His use.

One of the ways to walk in the will of God is to walk in the ways of God. In Part 2 of this series, we study Ruth and how she lived by God’s timing and God’s principles.

Why am I here? What is my purpose? Does God have a plan for me? We all might phrase the question a little differently but at the root, we're really asking, "How do I know God's will for my life?" It's possible for each of us to know and walk in the will of God and in this series, we learn how to take practical steps toward that goal while we study the story of Ruth.

In this message, we get really honest as we talk about the pain of unanswered prayers or "prayers in process."

While it’s true that God is an awesome Father who loves us very much and Jesus died to give us access to the very throne of God, it's also true that you and I can allow things in our lives that can become a roadblock in prayer - things that hinder our prayer life.

Have you ever struggled with wondering if your prayers are lining up with God's will? Like, "God, I would really love to see this happen, but... what if that's not Your will?" In this message, Pastor Dave shows us that if we want to pray the will of God, we have to learn to pray the Word of God. 

What's the difference between relational prayer and transactional prayer? "Your kingdom come, Your will be done" reminds us that God is... well, God, and when we approach Him our first priority is not to have Him do what we want Him to do - our first priority is His kingdom and His will. 

In the Bible, the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, but do you really need taught how to pray? Isn't prayer simple? Actually, in Luke 12, Jesus answers with some important teaching on how to pray.
