We believe the church is the hope of the world. God has used it to change and better millions of lives. The church has tremendous potential for good. We also recognize that when the church is bad, it’s bad. Churches have hurt people deeply. It is time that the church admits it’s shortcomings - to not excuse those, but to own them. It is time for God to bring healing to those hurt by a Bad Church.

Where do you find your identity?

There are two opposing forces - the winds of culture and the will of Christ. As much as we try to mesh them together - to fit into culture, to be like everyone else, and still follow Jesus, there’re points that where they conflict with each other. That’s when we feel it - the pressure to conform, to acquiesce to others, go with the flow, and not buck the system. But at what price?
