The gospel is for all people, but sometimes we live like it is for “just us:” only people who look like me and live like me. In Amos 5-6, God’s Word challenges us to turn our “just us” lives into justice: living for the good of all people across any distinction.

Christians must count the cost for following Jesus. It’s not just about believing in our Savior, but also about following our Lord.
