Continuing from last week, grace requires that we not just share one another’s burdens but also share the good we have to offer. It’s our job as Christian to put good out into the world - this is the kind of sacrifice that pleases God. Each of us will reap what we sow - if we sow grace into others’ lives, we will reap the same. Choose good!

Grace ultimately is an action. It’s our job as believers to restore those caught in sin - gently. With grace, not judgment. But if we hold our tongues, we can’t extend grace. If we aren’t willing to share one another’s burdens, we can’t extend grace. We have to act.

Pursuing pleasure will leave you empty and separate from the King. In Galatians 5:19-26, the apostle Paul breaks down some sin categories and what the results of those sins are. But the good news is this: coming in contact with grace changes our pursuit and our behavior changes.

God has given us the gift of grace but it's not to be kept to ourselves - we've been shown grace to share grace. Just like grace gave the apostle Paul a purpose in life, so it does for us as well. We ought to give grace to people around us to the same degree that we would like to receive it, knowing that the absence of grace is destruction.

Because of God’s grace, we have freedom! God calls us to freedom, not slavery to the law. Therefore, legalism has no place in Christianity and we don’t have to prove ourselves to God every day. We have to ask God to get involved if we want to see Him move. That means regular prayer. Pray for the people who are building the Kingdom. Pray for those for whom we are building the Kingdom. If we want to build the Kingdom, we need to teach others about the King. When we get excited about our story (what God has done for us) we can’t help but share it. When people hear about Jesus, they may want to come and see him with their own eyes. But we have to be bold or they may never get the opportunity to hear about him.

God owns everything in the world and we need to treat every blessing that we have as something he ultimately has possession of. That mindset leads to the idea of giving the King what he's due, which helps the Kingdom grow. Yes, there is a monetary aspect to this, but it is much deeper than that. We have a responsibility to give God all that he deserves - that includes our time, our talents, ou...

God has transformed us and that includes our minds. Now we must change how we think - from the things we desire to what God desires. That starts with brining more of God’s Word into our lives and this think on Him more. Because when we focus on what God wants, the Kingdom grows.

Real kingdom growth comes only from a faith built in truth. That faith comes from repentance. Repentance is mandatory and is God’s ultimate purpose for us. We must call on people to repent of their sins.

We can’t hope to build the kingdom on our own, we must follow the will of God in order to see growth. It’s not enough to know Jesus - we must follow his will as well. Submitting to the will of God shows the world that we are different. The will of God will put us on the right path.

Life is best lived when there is a goal in mind. There is no need to impress or achieve in order to gain the favor of God the Father or Christ the Son. Our standing is perfected, secured, and solidified. If we live out our purpose, run the race and fix our eyes on Jesus we will achieve the goal.

Always having to fight is so tiring. Being anxious and depressed is draining and leads lots to seek a way out. But we can rest in the God, who works on our behalf and wants good things for us.

Christ is with us. The biggest fear of a Christian being separated from God. In the midst of my struggles I felt like I was separated from everyone and everything, but mainly God, and knowing God, but feeling like he isn’t with you is devastating, but we are not alone.

One of my biggest struggles is feeling like I needed to earn God’s love. My being depressed and anxious somehow meant that God was unhappy with me or that I wasn’t in his favor. But we are made new creations in Christ and accepted by God.

There is a misconception that Christians shouldn’t struggle with depression or anxiety. Yet, we see main characters all throughout the bible who felt such despair that they thirsted for death.

Reading our Bible on a regular basis isn't just something to check off our list. It helps us build a foundation in our lives built on purpose. We can be confident that Scripture is the very Word of God. And we won't become everything God wants us to be without listening to his Word - in fact, we need Scripture to become mature believers.

The Gospel isn’t just the Good news, it’s the best news. The Church should never be ashamed of what we have been gifted. Rather we should take every opportunity to share and celebrate the gift we have graciously been given.

This is a specific instruction to Timothy himself. But it applies to all of us, we all have a gift, we all experience the moving of the Spirit. It is sinful to sit and let Church pass you by. The abled bodied do the work that those who aren’t physically able can’t. We should all lead in the area we can.

A successful church prays. We must pray and do so purposely. Our success is determined by our connection to God. Prayer is that means of connection.

As Christians we have the power of the truth. As the old superhero adage goes, with great power comes great responsibility. How we yield the truth is of ultimate importance. Our actions, and discourse must always come from love.

Christ is coming back again, this time with a purpose. He will heal creation and claim his own - will we be ready?

Christ died for us so that we would not feel the sting of sin. He rose himself from the dead so we may experience life. We cannot underestimate the power of his rising.

The Old Testament told us that the Messiah’s side would be pierced, and that he would suffer for the sins of the world. Christ death encompassed those prophecies. He died a heinous death because he loved us greatly.
