Elimelek moves his family from the land of God's provision into Moab, enemy territory. While in Moab, Naomi will lose her husband and two Sons. She is only left with her two daughters in law from Moab.

We also see two religious leaders, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, both believe that Jesus was the Messiah, go to Pilate and ask for Jesus' body. They prepare Jesus' body with spices and wrap Him in linen. They put Jesus in the new tomb that belongs to Joseph of Arimathea.

John 19:17-27 The Crucifixion of Jesus In this week's lesson, we will learn that Jesus is on His journey to the cross at the place of the skull called Golgotha, also called Calvary. We will also discover that through Jesus' crucifixion, a new family is born, a Kingdom family.
