This week, we take a look at Champion Wrestler. Taito's overlooked Fire Pro clone released for the PS1 in 1996. News includes the tumbleweed passing through the desert that is AEW Fight Forever, UPW announcements and more.

A bit of a different episode this week as instead of reviewing a specific game, we look at the video game career of White Thunder, the Superstar, the Big Bad Booty Daddy, Freakzilla, the Michigan Math Mack Daddy, Scott Steiner. This is also an XXL sized episode as there's a lot to go over in Figure Talk due to San Diego Comic Con. Sorry for some of the audio issues I was experiencing this week...

Today, we look at Saturday Night Slam Masters aka Muscle Bomber: The Body Explosion. Considered an arcade classic by fans, but sadly overlooked by Capcom itself. We also talk Ultra Pro Wrestling and the AKI influence, WrestleQuest, The Wrestling Code and of course, action figures.

King of Colosseum II is the best wrestling game of all time.

Spike's King of Colosseum Red & Green, the follow up to Soul of Champion. Two games combined that would have been considered by some as the best wrestling game of all time if it wasn't for the next game we're going to talk about. We also go over the boatload of Fight Forever news and media that has been released.

This week, we take a look at Zen-Nippon Pro Wrestling: Ouja no Tamashii, which translates to All Japan Pro-Wrestling: Soul of Champion. This game serves as the precursor to the King of Colosseum series on the PlayStation 2. A frustrating first step but it would pave the way for what some consider the best wrestling game of all time. This week it's SEGA's All Japan games. All Japan Pro-Wrestling featuring Virtua Fighter, Giant Gram and Giant Gram 2000. The third game especially is considered a classic of the wrestling genre. Damn, we didn't talk about Jim Steele as the real life Wolf Hawkfield. Note: We're switching to a bi-weekly format to better fit work schedules.

This week, we're talking about the All Japan Pro-Wrestling games developed for the Super Famicom by Natsume. If you're outside Japan, you may remember Natsume Championship Wrestling, a port of the second game in the series without the AJPW license.

This week, we talk about Wrestle Kingdom 1 + 2 which are...in my opinion, some pretty boring games with great rosters. Also, Doug Basham and D-Von Dudley's severed leg. No new episode next week!

This week, we take a look at the All Star Pro-Wrestling series by Square/Square Enix. Some of the most visually impressive wrestling games ever made. Also, the Wonderful World of Pat Tanaka and Steve Austin calls Pro-Wrestling NOAH.

WWE 2K23 is out now so here is our review. We've got a lot to say about what I think is an incredibly user unfriendly game. Is it fun? Let's find out. Note: No new episode next week.

Toukon Retsuden is a huge part of wrestling game history. The first 3D wrestling game, YUKES first game and a port that would introduce us to legendary ring announcer Gorgon. This week we cover the whole series, Toukon Retsuden 1-4, Toukon Retsuden on the WonderSwan, Toukon Retsuden Advance and Power Move Pro Wrestling.

I'm annoyed that the ending of Episode 13 is messed up I decided to edit and upload Episode 14 as quick as I could. So here it is! Rumble Roses is the game of the week. A fun game, although one very much of it's time with the jiggliest physics you can imagine. It's 2023! Indie wrestling developer MDickie is mad at AEW Fight Forever for some reason. Do we have a release date? Not yet. What we do have is a look back at some terrible ECW games from Acclaim and figure news.

This week, we discuss Paradox Development and Eidos Interactive's Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home and Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes The Neighbourhood. But perhaps more importantly than all that, Mongo has a lot to say about AEW Fight Forever and Ultra Pro Wrestling. Boy howdy, it's a doozy! It's episode eight! Today, we cover the Electronic Arts WCW games. WCW Mayhem and the truly awful, WCW Backstage Assault. This week it's the WCW games published by THQ. On one hand, you've got the absolutely awful Inland Productions PSX/N64/PC games. On the other hand, you've got the legendary N64 games (and one good PSX game) by AKi. Did you own an N64 or were you stuck with your PSX, watching WCW wrestlers rant and playing as cows, clowns and aliens?
