CRITICAL!

No specific topic this week, but it's a wrestling heavy episode. We talk UPW and WWE 2K25's Island BS, a LOT about wrestling figures, and close with thoughts on recent events.

WWE 2K25 is available for those who pre-ordered. I played it and it's broken in a lot of ways. Let's talk about it. We also look at the line up for AEW Revolution, STARDOM'S FIVE STAR MATCH~! and everything else you expect from us. You can't possibly want more. It's three and a half hours. Good God, almighty!

Come for the discussions on Toy Fair New York, WWE Elimination Chamber, the video game industry, & comics. Stay for me raving about Stardom, almost choking to death and Mongo burying Barry Horowitz deeper than a year's worth of Wrestling Challenge.

Another JAM PACKED episode as we look at AJW for the PS1. Beautiful animations unfortunately doesn't make up for flawed gameplay. Mongo DESTROYS the UPW/AKI announcement (jk), we talk AEW Grand Slam, our wish lists for Toy Fair, and romancing inanimate objects.

Programming note! Going forward, we are simply going by CRITICAL! Wrestling and wrestling games will still be our bread and butter, but considering we discuss our other hobbies, we may have episodes dedicated to a subject that falls outside of wrestling games. We were gone last week so this is a massive episode discussing the WWE 2K25 reveal, the Marvel Premier Collection and soooooo much more.

It's episode sixty nine, dude (do people still say nice?)! We're looking at Steve Austin's appearances in wrestling games, all the way back from Warzone to modern titles. We also take a detour from wrestling games (as we often do) as Mongo looks at the original Spider-Man movie game for the Xbox. I have some thoughts on the GTA Vice CIty Nextgen Edition mod that released, we talk the WWE 2K25 rumo...

We decided to look at another joshi Super Famicom game after the really fun, Super Stardust Suplex. Unfortunately, JWP doesn't have much to offer. There's one interesting mode that has yet to be translated. As usual, we also look at video game news, figures, comics and thoughts on the debut of RAW on Netflix and AEW.

We would have recorded last week but Indiana Jones made me sick. So, we're back to talk memories of Christmas past, all the big shows held by major promotions, figure and video game news, and the state of the MCU and DCU. Plus, a story about giant poo. Happy Holidays!

Really awesome show this week as we are joined by special guest, gackdaw. Gackdaw updates us on two games in development, Ultraviolence Wrestling and High Dives. We also discuss Gackdaw's time on the WWF SmackDown! 2 and WWF No Mercy hacking scene. As well as working on the highly acclaimed and influential Batman: Arkham series for Rocksteady. You can follow Gackdaw on: Twitter - https://x.com/gac...

WWE brought back Saturday Night's Main Event last night so we decided to review the show and discuss the events short video game history. There's also a UPW Patreon reveal that we tease, talk figures and when the hell did WWF switch to the Attitude logo?

We're back this week with WWF RAW. A game where the fun ends when the match begins. A bit of gaming news, more speculation regarding a Fight Forever sequel, NXT Deadline, and the state of AEW.

WrestleMania 2000 sometimes feels overlooked as it's sandwiched between WWF No Mercy and WCW/nWo Revenge. So we decided to take a look at it for the 25th anniversary of its release. Mongo also has his thoughts on AEW Full Gear. We also review events of the last 22 years. It's relevant, trust me.

Today, we're looking at Stardust Suplex. Another entry in the overlooked Varie series of wrestling games for the Super Famicom. All the discussion regarding the usual topics as well as Juicy dreams and workplace insanity.

Boy, these SvR games sure are overstaying their welcome. 2011 adds some new features but really, is it that different? We also chat about UPW DLC, VPW 64 hidden animations, WWE 2K24 WCW DLC and some interesting martial arts based games I played this week.

We're holding off on SvR 2011 to talk all the big figure and comic book news coming out of New York Comic Con. Also, UPW DLC and the Manhattan Center Patreon video. And I've got a brand new story for all you foot fans!

SvR 2010 adds some interesting new features, but unfortunately the gameplay doesn't change much at all. We also talk wrestling action figure licensing, AEW WrestleDream, PURPLE MORTIS and a lot more. There was some breaking UPW news that we were unable to cover during the show.

We cover a LOT of things this week. Including RINGS, a game that really, really doesn't want you to win. Also Fiend DLC, AEW Games, figures, WWE Bad Blood and tons more.

The booooys are back in-wrong podcast. We're getting tired of these WWE games that release every year and barely add anything new. But at least we've got the NU SCHOOL! We also talk about the Netflix shows the Queen of Villains and Mr. McMahon. One is very fun, the other really doesn't bring anything new to the table. Watch the Omni show on the WWE Vault Youtube channel so we can get more cool stu...

SmackDown vs RAW 2008 is a video game. Wrestling Twitter sucks. But hey, there's some fun stuff to talk about including SCOOPS on the status of a Fight Forever sequel and details on an unmade AKI game.

This episode is about WWE Smackdown! Vs RAW 2007, Rick Rude hallucinations, and comfortable underwear.

A doozy of an episode. We review SVR '06, a game which doesn't offer much fun unless you really hate Teddy Long. We also talk the UPW Manhattan Center inspired arena, reminisce on WCW and what could have been, the hellhole that is X and memories of the Master and Ruler of the World. Rest in Peace, Sid

The easiest way to describe SmackDown! Vs RAW is Here Comes The Pain without the soul. But we go into further detail, as well as talk Bastante Bueno Lucha Libre, The Wrestling Code technical demo, the state of UPW and a lot more.

For years, WWE SmackDown!: Here Comes the Pain has been considered one of the best wrestling games of all time. Headlined by the top stars of the Attitude Era, new faces such as Goldberg and Brock Lesnar as well as the SmackDown Six. Does it still hold up in 2024? Let's find out!

I've always thought Shut Your Mouth was an underrated game because of what came after it. On it's own, it's still a really fun game with a tremendous graphical update. Except for the CAWs...

Finally! The episode is...here. On Smackdown! Just bring it. Woah! The review. Alex Wright!..is a really great person.
