Reviews: Aladdin and the King of Thieves - I know that a lot of people had preferred Aladdin and the King of Thieves over The Return of Jafar, but honestly I thought it was a notch lower.

Sadly, "The Return of Jafar", while not exactly bad, seems more like a cheap parody of the theatrical Disney blockbuster than a sequel, and the same can probably be said about the "Aladdin" TV series. Fortunately, at least that isn't the case with "Aladdin and the King of Thieves", the final installment in the movie trilogy, which concluded this particular Disney...

Aladdin and Princess Jasmine seem silly and less mature, but in "The King of Thieves", they are back to the way they originally were. Another character who shows a return to form in this final installment in the trilogy is the Genie.

After the success of 'Return of Jafar' it's no surprise that Disney released a second straight to video/DVD 'Aladdin' sequel, with the big bonus this time being that Robin Williams was tempted back to voice Genie. You would imagine then that this would be the better of the two sequels, but sadly this is let down by a needlessly complicated plot that seems to drag on.

You really can't review "Aladdin and the King of Thieves" without comparing it to its 1992 theatrical predecessor, or even the first direct-to-video sequel "The Return of Jafar".

Aladdin's singing voice sounds a bit weird, and the animation isn't quite as good, but this is worthwhile. All Disney sequels should be something like this.

Asterix and Obelix:Mission Cleopatra is surprisingly entertaining and worth a watch most definitely. The story may be a tad slight and a pacing a little uneven, but it is very funny and charming

Mission Cleopatra is a breezy, satirical caper that I had a lot of fun with. Ancient Egypt works well as a comical setting with a lot of gags associated with it.

Astérix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra" is a star-studded film as well, but its greatness essentially relies on the parody humor displayed by Chabat and which respects the spirit of the albums.

I love to see "Astérix" as the pinnacle of French comedic blockbuster, spectacular and comic, it paved the way to a series of comedies that wouldn't have the same impact. I couldn't believe Alain Chabat would make the dreadful nonsensical "RRRrrrr!!!!"

I watched Asterix and Obelix in Operation Cleopatra, which was my first exposure to the live action version of the classic comic. Like the comic the whole movie is full of jokes based upon puns, anachronistic jokes and slapstick gags which rarely fall flat.

Everything Everywhere All at Once masters its building block storytelling that feels like an acid trip worth experiencing and that experience... can only be felt once in a lifetime. We're only in March but without a doubt, this is already the best film of the year! Sorry, summer blockbuster movies!

The protagonist needs to be someone we identify with who has wishes and hopes that lead us on. She seemed as confused as the storyteller and the husband. I guess I'll read some more about this film and hope with guidance to try to figure it out a bit. Obviously, all these universes and all these actions (way too much battling in my estimation) are leading somewhere

Kudos to The Daniels for their talent and joy of cinema. It would not surprise me if they helm a larger film in the future. Perhaps they can revamp a comic book franchise into something much more unique. Thank you for this movie.
