July 30, 1985. Eight year old Nicole Morin leaves her apartment unit to go swimming with a friend who is waiting for her in the apartment lobby. She never makes it to her friend, and has never been seen again.

Five year old Susan Cadieux disappeared from a school playground in London, Ontario on January 6, 1956. What happened next would completely devastate not only the London community but neighbouring communities as well. The story of what happened to little Susan would be communicated via newspapers across North America - but unfortunately the case would soon turn cold. 

A brutal hit and run in a small town in Ontario would cut 18 year old Lucas Shortreed's life short. The community was devastated at the loss of this promising young man. And the hurt would continue for almost 14 years as police searched for the person (or people) responsible. A shocking turn of events in September 2022 would change everything.
