The Scriptures prophesied that God is doing something new in the world. God is building a new people. The Cornerstone of God's work is Jesus. Jesus, our Cornerstone, gives us a new identity as God's Temple, God's Priests, and God's People. This encourages us to remain faithful in praising God and proclaiming His good news.

Jesus tells his disciples that the world will know them because “they love one another.”  Likewise, Peter commands his readers to love one another and reminds them that it is the Word or God that enables and energizes that love. We are to love one another as Jesus has loved us. Find the power to love other through a steady diet of Gods word.

God has given us a living hope in Jesus Christ. What amazing grace! In light of this grace, we are to live out our hope in Jesus. This inspires Christians to live holy lives as we remember our Father, the judge of all, and his Son, who give His life for us.

Salvation is such a gracious gift of God. The prophets eagerly desired to understand the mysteries of their words. The angels long to look into the mysteries of the gospel. Yet, we have the privilege to live in this beautiful relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
