People have a hard time seeing their own mistakes. We all can rationalize and justify our actions, but scripture is clear. “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the heart.” (Proverbs 21:2) What’s more important to the Lord than what you do, is the motive behind what you do because our actions reveal who we really are.

When we see or experience evil, we want to enact our own version of retribution. But this Proverb tells us "Do not say, I will repay evil"; wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you." (Proverbs 20:22) We must learn to wait on the Lord and to trust He will do what He says He will do.

2025 is here and with it comes new goals, resolutions, and dreams for the future. All of which are usually centered around making ourselves better or accomplishing more than we ever have. But we must remember that God values the integrity of your life. Who you are is more than what you produce or do because if you don’t have a good foundation, then the rest will be really hard to achieve.
