Jesus wants us to have a rich and full life in Him. But we can't do that unless we love Him with all our heart, mind, and soul. What if our heart is broken, our soul is pierced, and our mind is overcome with pain from the traumas, tragedies, and trials we've been through?

We can't be a church of power unless our church is filled with people of power. A church will never exceed the spiritual capacity and commitment of its people. How do we know we are walking in spiritual power? What is the evidence of that?

Jesus told us that the Holy Spirit is our power source. His power will not do any good if there is no way to get that power to where it is needed most - the world. Today, let's talk about how His power is transmitted.

If we are called to walk in spiritual power, and we are, then what is the source of that power? If we ever hope to do the works of Jesus, and make disciples of Jesus, we had better operate in the same power as Jesus, and that is the Holy Spirit. In this message we will look at ways the Holy Spirit empowers us.

If I had to summarize the difference between the New Testament church and the modern American church, I could sum it up with one word - power. The church we read about in the book of Acts was power-full. The church in existence today, for the most part, is power-less. To be a church of power, we need to be a people of power.
