Christianity is often confused with other religion because: 1. They both believe in the concept of sin 2. they both have passion against it 3. they both have a solution for it

Christian relationship are volatile: 1. Because it's filled with presumptions 2. To build leaders 3. To refine characters

1. The Gospel will connect us to remarkably loving family 2. Who may still hurt us despite their bet intention 3. Yet we must remain committed to the Gospel-shaped life

Our limited time with the people we love is well spent when: 1. We have embodied the Gospel in our lives 2. We have equipped them for the trials ahead 3. We can entrust them to the One who loves them most of all

The Gospel mission advances: 1. Through self-sacrificial love 2. In order to gather a multicultural family into fellowship 3. So that we can be awakened unto life

1. When transformed lives revealed idols 2. It will produce an emotional frenzy 3. That's very hard to tame

1. Don't treat answered prayers and apostolic miracles the same 2. Don't treat all false miracle workers the same 3. Don't forget that the root of our sins, are all the same

1. The Holy Spirit here did come to save 2. But to expand Gospel mission

1. There is no such thing as Christian elitism 2. Because God's presence dwells in all of His People 3. Pointing us all continually to Chirst

1. The importance and the definition of wisdom (Proverbs 8:10-16) 2. The consistency of the order of God and the brokenness of the world (Proverbs 8:22-31) 3. How the Gospel restores that brokenness (Proverbs 30:1-4)

1. For new Christians, you are strong 2. For mature Christians, you are still children 3. For all Christians, you are forgiven

1. We're overly consumed by our other identities 2. We're scared of being caricatured by the world 3. We don't want to be misunderstood and abandoned

When we evangelize unbelievers, we must do three things: 1. Have compassion for sinners (v16) 2. Be familiar with their culture (v17-18, v22-27) 3. Boldy proclaim the Gospel of Christ (v29-31)

The Church will continue to survive when: 1. We simply preach the Gospel 2. We are prepared for the polarizing effects of the Gospel 3. We commit to stand together for the Gospel

The Gospel: 1. Resurrected a lady who was dead in her religiosity 2. Unchained a young girl who was beyond hope 3. Released a middle class worker from the prison of despair 4. Unto a life of unions with Christ and His people

1. Who practice what they preach 2. Who have sanctified gut instincts 3. Who are committed to the next thing above long term plans

1. Acknowledge the deeper realities of divisive issues 2. Be faithfully creative and humbly sacrificial 3. Remain family although separated institutionally

Controversies can become constructive when Christians discuss issues: 1. In the spirit of brotherhood 2. Grounded on our identity in Christ 3. Under the authority of Scripture 4. To find a resolution that facilitates fellowship

1. Remember that you cannot change hearts 2. Apply Gospel truth according to people's idol 3. Let Christ, not results, drive you

1. Be able to worship even in distress 2. View trials in a very unique way 3. See growth amidst the fire 4. Be surprised by moments of inexpressible joy

Being a disciple of a Lord who lays down His life means we must: 1. Count the cost of being a disciple 2. Be content with the portion our Lord gives us 3. Embrace the upside-down ethic of God’s Kingdom

God’s Sovereignty in: 1. Human history (v16-22) 2. The fulfillment of His promise (v23-39) 3. The power of the Gospel (v42-48)

1. To gather more worshipers globally 2. And rebuke counterfeit worship powerfully 3. In a way that’s worthy of the Gospel story
