The extravagant worship offered by a woman marked by her past gives us a revelation of Jesus, who not only forgives our sins but silences our accusers and sets us free for joyful living.

Jairus and the hemorrhaging woman were desperate enough to come to Jesus, and both experienced his willingness to do immeasurably more than they could ask or imagine. 

The centurion had a need and understood one thing, authority. Therefore, he was humble and able to recognize Jesus’ true power.

In what extreme ways are you willing to show your faith so that God may touch the lives of people in need of the transformational power of the gospel? 

God put humanity in garden to cultivate the earth for his glory and for the flourishing of his good creation. Christians are called to fulfill this purpose through their vocations for God’s glory and the good of his creation.

The family is God’s design. It can be one of this life’s greatest sources of joy and satisfaction, but also one of the greatest sources of pain, brokenness and disappointment. In the kingdom, God’s heart is to restore our family relationships.  

The heartbeat of God’s kingdom is multi-generational. He brought his kingdom to earth through his Son, who invested in an unlikely crew of young disciples who turned the world upside down.

God cares deeply about cities because God loves people. As followers of Christ, we should be devoted to the flourishing of the communities in which we live.

The church and the kingdom of God are not identical. The kingdom of God is bigger than the church. But Jesus did found the church, and He entrusted it with the ministry of His gospel and the proclamation of His kingdom.  

We’re not just called to believe in Jesus as savior, but follow Jesus as king. Jesus invites to participate in his kingdom. 

Are you tired? Burned out? Looking for hope? We invite you to encounter Jesus, the one who offers us rest, and fall in love with Him again or maybe for the first time.

Palm Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week, the Sunday before Easter. We will journey with Jesus as he enters the gates of Jerusalem as a humble servant exalted by cheering crowds and remember the sacrifice he's preparing for.

Ignite is a spiritual formation weekend retreat for our middle school students, where they are served by our high school students and the rest of the church body. This year's theme is "discovering God's love through the church."

The Holy Spirit reveals the sin in our lives so we can walk in freedom and experience the love of God. Our task is to keep in step with the Spirit by renewing our minds and submitting our bodies in worship. 

Sin has a way of appealing to our natural desires but twisting them so we’re led astray. We can endure temptation with God’s truth on our side.

Have you ever felt like you were your own worst enemy? We do have an enemy and it might be closer than you think. Knowing our true enemy is the first step in defeating it. We don’t just need to condemn sin, we need to understand it. 

We've almost removed the word "sin" from our language. What is it and how can we remove it from our hearts?

A vision of Christian sexuality is not just about maintaining moral boundaries but the formation of our lives (who am I becoming). 

The Bible presents a positive view of sex as a significant part of human design, identity and purpose. 

The culture’s message of sexual freedom has been damaging and has not fostered sexual flourishing. We are all sexually broken, but God is eager to redeem, restore and heal. 

When we are a unified force empowered by the Spirit and motivated by love, there is no limit to what God can do through us.

The kingdoms of the world run according to the love of power. The Kingdom of God moves according to the power of love.

We can only find the strength we need in the context of authentic, life-giving community.

When we pray our tendency is to focus on outward circumstances, but God’s primary concern is developing our inner being.
