Tim Cranton is one of the faculty members of the College. He has been working on North Sea oil rigs for over a decade. He talks about what it takes to become an offshore medic. He gives some advice for anyone looking to work on oil rigs. And he talks about some of his most challenging medical cases. 

Paul Loos and Dennis Jarema, both 18Ds, teach at the schoolhouse in Fort Bragg. They started the Prolonged Field Care Working Group along with Dr Sean Keenan. Paul and Dennis have completed their first year of the MSc Austere Critical Care programme. They discuss their experiences during the first year and what they have learned during the programme.

Dr Francis Sakita is CoROM faculty and runs the Emergency Department in Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center in Tanzania. Each month he will present a clinical case from KCMC, located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.  Today, Dr Francis talks about a patient presenting with difficulty breathing and shortness of breath.
