In Psalms 2 we are told that until Christ assumes His proper reign as the King of Kings, the world will scoff in opposition to His rule and His ways. But we are to be encouraged that Christ will rule and will reign.

In James 2 we are clearly taught that authentic faith produces works evident of the faith. Saving faith leaves our hearts and moves to and through our hands.

In Luke 14, Jesus teaches us the importance of counting the cost of following Jesus. He warns that those who follow him must be willing to abandon all other treasures compared to following him.

In 2 Peter we are taught the the Word of God offers us a true light in the darkness. We can trust the Word of God and follow it as the source of our truth.

Jesus explains the amazing opportunity he offers to believers when He invites them to come join His Kingdom. He warns of being careful that pride, preoccupation and unbelief should not hinder us from enjoying the opportunity to be rescued.

God kept secret the fullness of the gospel; God disclosed the gospel through the coming of Jesus by the Old Testament; The Gospel is spread through the preaching of Jesus at the command of God; The God who brought abundant mercies to save us will bring abundant mercies to keep us

In Luke 13:31-35 Jesus explains that His rule will not end until His ministry is complete. Jesus proclaims that the heights of power of both Gentiles and Jews will reject His rule, but He stands ready to save.

Paul bids farewell to the Romans and encourages them towards unity in obedience.

Jesus teaches the humbling reality that few will see the wisdom of the kingdom. By God's grace believers seek to strive to enter through the narrow door.

Jesus shows his mercy against the legalism of the pharisees while promising the certain coming of His Kingdom.

Paul offers an example of biblical priorities as he explains his desire to (1) Spread the Word of God (2) Share the wealth of God and (3) Submit to the Will of God

In Luke 13 Jesus teaches the necessity of repentance and the expectation of fruitfulness.

1. Remember the Gentiles (vv. 14-16); 2. Fulfillment of ministry, (vv. 17-19); 3. Ambition to blaze a trail (vv. 20-24)

Jesus warns us that judgment is real and warns to live ready for coming the kingdom. He reminds us that His ministry divides between those who believe and those who reject Him.

In Romans 15 Paul relies upon a biblical orbit to encourage Jewish and Gentile members to welcome one another. From this passage we can see the elements of a biblical orbit.

Jesus teaches us in Luke 12 how to live ready for the coming kingdom

In Romans 15 Paul teaches that God desires to see unity and harmony in the body of Christ to show the providence of God the father, the work humility of the Son of God, Jesus, and the enabling of the Holy Spirit to bring endurance to His church. It is the triune God that is able to grant us unity in christ and provide hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus explains to His followers that they need not be anxious or worry given the abundant care of their Heavenly Father.

In Romans 14:13-23 Paul explains that Christians should prioritize Christian love over individual freedoms.

Jesus teaches us the danger of storing up treasures on earth instead of storing up treasures in heaven.

In Romans 14 Paul explains that we are to live in the eyes of our master while bearing with one another in love

Jesus teaches us that as we properly fear God then only can we properly be faithful to God and properly fear man.

Jesus teaches that exterior washing for us is not enough to fix our problem of lacking righteousness.

Paul exhorts us to live in light of the coming of Jesus. He invites us to wear the things of God.

In Luke 11:29-36 we see the amazing grace of seeing Jesus as the Son of God and savior for wicked sinners.
