 We recently were asked about what is meant by the term "feasibility" when referring to laws that reference De-escalation. In dealing with law enforcement the word feasible means that the officer perceives that an incident is reasonably capable of de-escalation under the circumstances while still achieving the arrest or lawful objective without increasing risk to the officer or another person.
