Mr. Abastilla interviews Senior student, Daniel Johnson who talks about his experiences moving to Chimacum from other states and other counties. Daniel also talks about having perspectives despite having family financial struggles.

In this episode, Mr. Abastilla interviews one of Chimacum High School’s science teachers, Mr. Brett Thomsen. In this interview, Mr. Thomsen talks about his experiences overseas and abroad as well as past military experiences.

In this episode, Mr. Abastilla interviews his intern, Emily Eldridge who started back in January, and will be at Chimacum until the end of May. Emily is currently interning to be a future school counselor, who’s future is bright!

Specifically focusing on their experiences in WeAct and ESPECIALLY their experiences during the COVID pandemic. How they coped with it and how they got through it.

Mrs. Hall is currently the Math teacher for the 7 and 8th grade students at Chimacum Jr./Sr. High as well as the Geometry teacher for the High School students. Mrs. Hall was also a student of Chimacum growing up. I’m this interview Mr. A. talks to Mrs. Hall about her past experiences as a student and current experiences as a teacher.

Dr. Kristina Mayer is currently the chair of the Chimacum School Board along with Tami Robocker who is currently serving as the Vice President. In this interview, Mr. Abastilla interviews both ladies to get their perspectives as past students, influential members of the community, and the importance of student learning.

Student Paisley Mitton is currently a Senior at Chimacum Junior/Senior High. One of the kindest most genuine students Mr. Abastilla has ever encountered. In this interview, Mr. A. learns about close knits friendships, Paisley’s experiences as a Senior student, and more!

The very first guest is Jerome who is the SAP (Student Assistance Professional) counselor at Chimacum Junior/Senior High School. Jerome has quite the extensive background working in a variety of settings and played football for the University of Washington. This is an interview detailing what Jerome has done up to this point.
