She discussed having her first drink at 15, how alcohol masked her insecurities, the physical and mental toll alcohol took on her, her family history of struggles with alcohol, finally being able to remain sober, and how God not only helped her get sober, but healed her body physically!

During our conversation, we talked about the challenges Black farmers face, the Black Farmer population continuing to decline, the bills that involve Black Farmers, and the future for Black Farmers.

Had the pleasure of talking with Crystal Tramack! She is the author of the book She Needs To Move Something To Live. We talked about her seeing her mom workout at an early age, beginning her career in Track and Field, finishing college with no plan which led to her going into the Army, her successful career in the Army, and finding her love again for Track and Field!

Nakeesha Cousins is the founder of Uniquely Keesh. We talked about her gift with connecting with our ancestors, getting comfortable with her gifts, the influence of religion and how some can be conflicted with her gifts, being responsible with her gift, and being comfortable sharing her gifts with the world!

Had a conversation with Chris Bray who heads DMV University. He addressed running the program, his time playing football, the experiences the children have playing football, what he learned playing football, and his biggest lessons learned from football.

Had the pleasure of talking with Taya Dickens. She completed her freshman year at LSU, and heading into her sophomore year! During our conversation she talked about how she chose LSU, the recruiting process, experiencing some struggles her freshman year, enjoying living college life, and her looking forward to her sophomore year!

Had the pleasure of talking to Kiyoko Todae! She is an educator and poet! We talked about her starting writing at a young age, writing about people she closely observed, having the confidence to share her work, her preferences to still write physically, her purpose to love and educate, creating an open environment in her classroom, and also learning from her students.

Had a great conversation with 12 Kyle, the host of the 12 Kyle podcast! He had an interesting episode where he talks about his life in the 1990s. We discussed his graduation from high school, being influenced by the TV show A Different World, the influence of his father, the aftermath of his parents divorce, how football helped him in life, and his own experiences of being a husband and father.

Ashley Janai' joined me to talk about how she started watching wrestling to deal with her uncle's death, writing songs for herself and others, producing music, songwriters who inspire her, making sure to deliver on her upcoming music show, and who she would have main event Wrestlemaina 40

Dane Hawkins has been married for 9 years and a father of two girls! During our conversation, we talked about him growing up with all sisters, knowing at an early age he wanted to be married, meeting his wife at the right time, the importance of communication, HBCUs, and the benefits of marriage for men!

Marc Too Sharp is a barber in PG County. On a personal note, he is my barber, so you know I trust him! We talked about him never having an enjoyable barber experience which lead him to cutting his own hair, building rapport with his customers, being mentally and physically prepared to do his job everyday, being a professional, and his desires to do more than just cut behind the chair.

During our conversation, she spoke about surviving being molested, seeking therapy, the lack of support she had during therapy, repairing the relationship with her father, and how she defines peace.

During our conversation, we talked about his fraternity work combating homelessness, he himself being homeless as a child, starting a new chapter in life after sports, leaving the city of Oakland, and his overall commitment to improving the community!
