Alex and Clara bring you another potpourri episode! Alex tells us about the origins of the parental advisory sticker and Clara tells us about Mary Mallon. This week! We kick off another potpourri month by passionately, on the verge of rudely, educate each other about things the other thought was fake. Namely, Clara talks about Girly Chew and Alex tells us about the real person Nicolas Flamel. We also talk about The Slap and we discuss another important food based question.

Praise be, we made it to the end of Government month. Alex teaches us about the constitutional amendments and Clara tries to explain different kinds of governments around the world. We also get our first bingo of 2022!

This week Alex and Clara talk government! Again, the Russian government. Clara tells the life and leadership of Catherine the Great and Alex talks about the Romanov family! Alex declares herself not a cat but finds the perfect playlist for cats, and we semi successfully try out some Gen z terms. We slap at it…?

Week two of government! After some deep discussion about Jurassic Park and other nonsense Alex tells us about the man himself, Putin. Clara talks about government secret projects that were v unsuccessful. We also get one more check off the bingo card and offend another entire state.

We made it to March! Probably. This month we are discussing government… things. Clara breaks down Operation Paperclip (not Clippy) and two major players who benefited from it. Alex talks about yellowcake uranium (not delicious). Additionally Clara issues a public apology to Alex, and Alex vaguely and semi accurately tells Clara about the royal family. Also we 💕 Ukraine.

This week Clara and Alex end the love gone wrong series by discussing Lorena (Bobbitt) Gallo and Selena Quintanilla. But first we break down Alex’s mystery beverage as well as a couple true crime updates.

2022!! We did it! We start of the year with some fraud. That’s right, it’s Frauduary! This week Alex tells us about fraudster and over all terrible friend Anna Sorokin/DelVey. Clara talks about the unblinking fraudster Elizabeth Holms and her fake company Theranos. The whole time we’re not sure if we’re talking about frauds or frogs.
