Help others understand what preceded us in various disciplines of study so that we will not waste our efforts reinventing what is already working, or by repeating and perpetuating our faults; but rather to refine the successes and correct the failures. We should learn from others, in their own words, to understand their motivations and determine their effectiveness over time...
