Congregation Beth Hatikva

Today, we talk about the truth that is out in the world, and how evil people seek to snuff out the truth. We talk about the Yeshua, who was subjected to these lies, when he revived Lazurus, and when He Himself rose from the grave. To this very day, the lies spread by the Pharisees still deceive people to this day. However, the truth will always come to light in the end.

Today, we talk about the sin of murder, and how it manifests itself in different ways in this world, and how we should take care not to engage in this sin due to its consequences in the eyes of God.

Today, we talk about different holidays celebrated by different people throughout the year and if we know the true meanings of these holidays and whether we should be investing our time in celebrating them.

Today, we talk about the voice that God has spoken through many different people throughout the years, and Himself came down to speak and touch people to turn to Him.

Today, we talk about the sins in the world, and how we become a citizen of that sin. We talk about how we can shed this by identity by repentance.

Today, we talk about how God is the perfect judge, knowing all about our lives, and how the people of this world are selfish, greedy, and do not care for other people. When the day of judgment comes, God will see all that each one of us has done and will judge us accordingly.

Today, we talk about Enoch, how he walked with God, how one day God took him with Him to eternal life, and how we too can be taken by God, from death to eternal life.

Today, we talk about resisting change and being stubborn when we are confronted by people and God with the truth that is in the Word of God. We talk about looking at ourselves and letting go of traditions to truly follow the Lord.

Today, we talk about being called by Yeshua, calling us out of many, so that we may be an example and so that His glory and power can be manifested.

Today, we talk about the objects and creatures of the world around us, how they themselves serve Adonai, and how they themselves will pass judgment against us when we do not follow Adonai.

Today, we talk about faith, and how we hear the word of God, and believe in the Word. We talk about how we need to put our faith in one person, Yeshua, and when we put it in other things of this world, we are led astray into disobedience.

Today, we talk about the appointed day of Yom Teruah, the feast of shouting and sounding of the trumpets. We talk about the things that we are to do to celebrate this appointed day, and how we are to blow the shofar to remember, so that we may remember God, and that he will remember us. We also talk about the misconception surrounded around of the Biblical new year, and the feast of Yom Teruah

Today, we talk about Joseph, who when his brothers came to Egypt, kept his identity hidden from them, until when both they and Jacob, were in need, came and rescued when they believed. Yeshua does the same thing in our lives, rescues us in our time of need when we believe that He can.
