Continuing our What's True About You series through the book of Romans, we discuss the first few verses of chapter 12. Where do we aim our worship, and are we following the patterns of this world, or a life of sacrifice. We also talk about the implications of global digital identification. 

Darren and Mo invite their good friend, author and Bible teacher Donna VanLiere to join them to discuss Romans 11; specifically the biblical, historical and geopolitical context of Israel and the Jewish people.

Romans Ch.10 tackles the idea of the story in which we exist. Do we live in the truth about who we are, free in Christ or a false story that keeps us locked in a cage. And do we know who we are in the story; the victim, the villain, the hero or the guide. Romans 8:14-30 speaks of our Father adopting us into His sonship, the present suffering and the future glory. However, our current culture and the powers-that-be have an idea on how we achieve future glory (reset), and it’s in direct conflict with how Scripture describes this process (restoration). Darren and Mo discuss what this looks like through current world events in this week's episode. 

This week Darren and Mo spend time discussing Romans 8:5, and what it means to have our minds set on the flesh vs. the Spirit. From time spent ‘doom scrolling’, binging Netflix, or being consumed by the news and politics…to creating habits and a lifestyle that meditates on the Word of God and being led by the Holy Spirit inside of us (Phil. 4:8, Rom. 8:11, Ps. 19:14).
