Jesus taught us the Lord's prayer, giving us a template we can use to honor God and ask for care, forgiveness and guidance in our own prayers. While we should certainly do this, it is also important to remember that prayer is a two-way conversation and we should leave some space in that conversation to listen for God and look for His response in our lives.
