Today, we were delighted to have Dan Kuiper return. We began with a passage from the Bible in Ephesians 6:1-3 and Genesis 32:22-27. Dan discussed what we must do if we truly desire God's blessing in our lives.

Today we will conclude our sermon series from the book of Philippians entitled “ To Live is Christ.” We will open God’s Word together to Philippians 1:3-8. We take time in this service to say farewell to Pastor Jim and Brenda and thank them for their years of service here at Community.

Today we opened with God’s Word together to Philippians 4:8-9. We are challenged together to make sure that we have a filter in our minds so that impure thoughts will be kept from entering in.

"We continue our sermon series from the book of Philippians entitled “ To Live is Christ.” Today we open God’s Word together to Philippians 3:17-21 and seek to answer the question, “ What is Your Destiny?"

We will open God’s Word together to Philippians 3:12-16. We seek to learn together what it means to pursue Christ-likeness with an unrelenting passion.

Pastor Laryn discusses Paul's story from Philippians 3:1-11, in which Paul realizes that all his efforts to make an impression on God are useless and faith in Jesus and His death on the cross for sins is the only thing that impresses God and the only way to be saved.

"We open God’s Word together to Philippians 2:12-18 and be challenged to examine our conduct as Christians and to determine what in our behavior needs to be addressed as we seek to become more Christ-like."

This message focuses on how we can learn to be content in whatever our circumstances are, as well as knowing that we can accomplish all this with the strength given to us through Christ. The secret to this is knowing that we need to be Christ-sufficient rather than self-sufficient. Our true contentment and accomplishments are only found in our relationship with Christ.

We turn to Philippians 2:9-11 and seek to understand what it means to recognize Jesus Christ as the exalted Lord of the universe.

Today we continue our sermon series from the book of Philippians entitled “To Live is Christ.” We turn to Philippians 2:1-8 and be challenged together to consider what the Bible means when it says to imitate the humility of Christ Jesus.

The message today will focus on the book of 1st Corinithians and the hope it gives us as we witnessed Ascension Day (this past Thursday) and look forward to Pentecost Sunday next week.

Our missionary Kyle Beckrich joined us to preach on Luke 24:13-32 where the disciples encounter the risen Jesus on the road to Emmaus.

Easter Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ ! Today we conclude our sermon series, "I Am; Jesus In His Own Words", and learn more about what Jesus meant when he identified himself as the Resurrection and the Life.
