And finally we come to the Armor of God... the classic passage that we are all so familiar with.  We begin this teaching by setting the context of: evil/demons, the fighting words, the communal aspect and then we dive into the armor itself.  Prayer is the energy for the Armor and we end discussing prayer's vital aspect in Ephesians. Paul gives us some pretty serious commands to follow in this weeks sermon.  But how are we to view and follow them and what is the progression from Walking in Love to Light to Wisdom?  We walk through through Ephesians 5 and see what Paul is calling us to. The second half of Ephesians uses the word walk 5 times.  We are given instructions on how we are to walk in out our faith in God.  The first set of instructions have to do with how to 'Walk in Unity.'  We learn how to walk, then we walk together, then we teach others to walk. At the end of Chapter 3, Paul once again breaks out in prayer for his Ephesian brothers and sisters.  It is a beautiful prayer that focuses on the internal realities rather than external conditions challenging us to rethink the way we pray for others and ourselves.   Text: Ephesians 3.14--21 Teacher: Eric Williams

The theme of Unity and reconciliation is a major issue in Paul's letter to the Ephesians.  In Ephesians 2 and 3 Paul is articulating the radical news that both Jew and Gentile are included in the promise of God. Text: Ephesians 2.11-3.13 Teacher: Eric Williams

Ephesians Praying for others can sometimes bring apprehension, anxiety or dread!  But in this passage, Paul simply gives us a stencil on how to pray for others as he prayed for the church in Ephesus.   Text: Ephesians 1.15--23 Teacher: Eric Williams
