Songs of Christmas: Magnificat 05.12.2022

We begin a short Christmas series based on the three songs of Christmas - the Mganificat, Benedictus, and Nunc Dimittis. This weeks Magnificat by Mary is a powerful, rebellious song that was sung to her son Jesus which helped shape his vocation and life. I AM - Light 30.03.2022

Jesus makes the claim: I am the light of the world, 3 times in the Gospel of John.  Primarily he does this on the last day of the Festival of Tabernacles in John 8.  Many fascinating discoveries are found as we observe what Jesus was doing when he makes this claim.
